We skied here again this Saturday night. Condition were great, lots of corn snow and great coverage for this time of year. Since it is daylight savings time, they did not close the day trails until after 6:00pm. Love the new lodge! As for people that have written reviews and complained about the parking lot and trail signs, it is... More

Skied this area for 52 years and it gets better every year. New addition to the base lodge offers families the option of "brown bagging it" or being served in the new restaurant adjacent to the old base lodge. This family run ski area continues to make improvements every year by upgrading their snowmaking capability, improving configuration of trails, providing... More

Based on all the reviews here, we thought we found the place we'd return over and over. However, after our trip yesterday we won't be back. I knew going in it was an older mountain, which is fine with us, but it doesn't fully explain this place. There's no 5 minute drop off by the lodge, so everyone was getting... More

The numbers: $10 for 20 runs in 3 hours, 45 minutes. 30 degrees at 5pm, 16 degrees at 9pm. The ride up is 10 minutes on the left chair, 9 on the middle and 5 on the right. It takes under 2 minutes top to bottom on Competition. Very friendly lift attendants and fellow skiers. No lines, but a good... More

Berkshire Ski Area is reminiscent of those throwback mountains of yesteryear where skiers go to enjoy great runs, basic yet cozy lodges, and tolerable crowds. Here is a resort where you feel welcome and the locals are are friendly. The mountain itself isn't overwhelming, but the trails are well groomed and it never seems overly crowded. Very nice experience there.

I have been reluctant to write about this mountain, for fear that it would become crowded. But after a recent visit, I felt I had to share. This ski hill, in sleepy Charlemont MA,is a great place for skiers of all abilities, but it's particularly fun for kids and people who have an aversion to skiing in crowded conditions. We... More

This is a great mountain for intermediate skiers who want to avoid the busy, overcrowded mountains of the Northeast. If you don't mind a relatively modest, simple lodge and fewer lifts than in VT, you will be very happy with the lack of lines and decent runs. One thing that bothered me was the inability to get a weekend lift... More

My husband and I are just learning to downhill ski and needed some practice. Loved the affordable $42 family night lift tickets ($42 for both not each). We would have paid more going out to eat! The conditions were great and we had such a great time.

The Berkshire East Ski Resort zip lines were fantastic. My husband and son thought they were "good" but they are experienced unlike my daughter and I. We were terrified! The guides made it so easy for us to acclimate to the altitude, distance and speed by gradually moving us to more advance runs each segment of our tour. We took... More

My wife and I did the valley jump tour, and it was absolutely great! I had arranged the day as a surprise wedding anniversary 'retreat', so my wife only knew about it a few days in advance...hence, she was nervous to say the least! Our guides -- Sarah and Danielle, were so professional though (and fun), and made us feel... More
