Went skiing this past Sunday... Was a beautiful day and all the trails were open.. The staff is friendly and nice.. later had a beer in the lodge.. The prices are very resonable and the bartender was extremely pleasant.

The already very short 'hills' were impossible to go down fast or to even the middle, when it snows. You need to have it icy almost to go fast and to the bottom. We were also the first group, the 10 o'clock group. Maybe if you go from 2pm-4pm it may better.
It snowed at least 18" in Charlemont over the weekend, so lack of snow was not a problem, though freezing rain coated the snow with an icy layer. . Next to nobody on the slopes. This is by far the best ski are in the Berkshires! It is a great place to either ski steep runs {for western Mass} Or gentle long runs that snake around the mountain. Night skiing here is a blast and a great deal on saturday nights.

Not a huge area but has enough variety and challenges to keep you occupied for a day. They groom well but come early before it skied off. Some great views from the top as well.

The people working there are nice. The snacks and drinks are overpriced so bring your own. I can not comment...

Low key, good trail variety and friendly staff. Only complaint is I saw 2 trail marker signs in a full day of skiing. When I mentioned this to the owner at Customer Service that if they require skiiers to be in control they need to label trails so you know when it is beyond your skill level, he seemed unconcerned...
