This is a great beach & we had fun with my son who is 14. We bought a beach umbrella, chairs, cooler, boogie board (which we used and was no problem), & a kite-(which WAS a problem.) AFTER the lifeguards left @ 5pm, it was OK to fly the kite, throw a frisbee, put a paddle board from the shore,... More

Great beach for kids and families. Good parking, food near by. Parking a little pricey but make a day of it.

Great beach but very busy! Not too rocky. Lots of room to take walk up and down beach. It costs $15-$20 to park but pass is good all day and for other beaches nearby as well.

My favorite beach as a kid and still continues to be. Clean long stretch of public beach, very clean water. Very attentive lifeguards. Nearby eateries across the road for snacks as well. The beach House with bathroom facilities could use some attention.

The beach is only a mile or so from the historic Captain David Kelly House B&B in Centerville. The beach is a little rocky, but it is long and wide. A wonderful place for early morning walks.

warm water...sometimes very calm...sometimes great waves...centrally located. I don't think trip advisor should make you have a character count!

The beach has a big parking lot, but charges $20 per day (no overnight parking). The beach itself is beautiful and well-maintained. You'll find enough people, from teens playing card games, volleyball, to families where parents read a book or two and children playing in the sand building sand-castles. The waters's edge is lined up with many shells, so be... More
