One of the best family beaches on the east coast. Great sand and gentle waves makes this spot perfect for families. During the summer there is a daily parking fee for non residents but if one stays for a week they can get a weekly parking permit that entitles them to park not only at Craigville, but six other fine... I live very near this beach in the summer and enjoy it almost everyday. Lots of parking and food is available on the beach. Very busy tourist beach so get there early. Always clean and have life guards during the summer months. The water is also warmer on this south side of the Cape.

Walking the beach with few people around …. lots of shells to pick up…a delightful adventure! Off season walking the beach is a wonderful time for reflection.

We live here and i don't like any south beaches. Seaweed everywhere , sand has shells and pebbles . i guess i saw better. Want to see nice , free beaches takes a ride to Nantucket

Great beach for both family and friends. Clean facillities. If you are looking for big waves, this is not the place for you.

This was mine and my husband's first experience with a northern beach as we usually visit the Carolinas for our beach vacations. This beach was within walking distance of our B&B (Captain David Kelly House-which was amazing!). We first visited in the evening and it was lightly populated and nice. Next day we visited during the day and it was... More

Both wide and long, Craigville has the warm Nantucket Sound waters. The lifeguards should be honest about the presence of jellyfish and also have the vinegar at the ready.

We went to that particular beach and did not like it at all. The sand was grainy, full of shells. The beach and the water had lots of algae. And to add to our disappointment, a child found a jellyfish in the water. The kids still had fun playing in te sand, but we stayed close to shore. We found... More

I guess I am not cut out for Cape Cod beaches. I can get past the rocks. Just don't like the lack of waves and the fact the beach is not very wide. You are surrounded by 2 private beaches that have signs up saying please respect our privacy. Cannot really walk on the beach since this is on both... More
