Good beach for the kids

Great beack for the kids with "miles" of tide pools at low tide. water was clean and warm and we didn't have any trouble parking.

Not too crowded, near the bike path & Nickerson state park in Brewster and warm bay water. Very convenient to get to by bike. Don't forget a parking pass if you bring your car - fines are steep.

This is a great place to go if you have small kids. Water is shallow and warm. No waves. Fee was 15 bucks if you get a pass from the hotel. Not much parking so go as early as possible, no food kiosk,

Great beach, get a parking pass otherwise town is making $30 of you, with pass they will make only $15. I'll take $15 penalty for not waiting in line :). Beach wise, clean, at low tide you can walk a football filed before you reach waters up to your waist, kids loved it, you can see boats on sand as... More

Nestled in a Brewster, this is a wonderful spot for reading, walking far out on the sand at low tide or wading into the not too cold bay water. Very manageable beach for young families. Some folks make camp fires at sunset. Parking lot gets full by midday so try to come early (or after 3 pm when stickers are... More

Great beach with warm waters and tidal pools. Very shallow beach, so swimming at low tide would be difficult. Our boys just loved exploring the tidal pools and sea life though when we visited. Can walk over 1/2 a mile until, you reach the ocean during low tide. Had port a potties, but no change rooms.

Great family beach. We got here late in the afternoon after 3:00 and there were parking spaces. Best of all, the parking is free after 3:00 p.m. The water was extremely calm. We went at low tide and you can walk out quite far while the water stays very low. Not too many rocks. There is some seaweed, but we... More

We always head to Crosby beach after 3pm (when you can park for free, if spots are available and they usually are around 4pm). There are no homes on the beach here only natural surroundings. You can walk east and its pristine. We also like to watch sunset from Crosby beach.

The famous flats have nice short white sands beach, very clean. Make sure you buy the weekly or season parking pass from town hall. You dont want a 30.00 ticket....and they do write them up. Make sure you know the tide times, because its well over a mile to the waters edge during low tide, and then another mile for... More

This is a beautiful beach, however tide is really low so you are walking a mile just to get to water. It was a mushy mess, but we got to see beautiful crabs and sea creatures. Parking lot is small, but it's free. If tide was a lil high during the day time, it would be an awesome lil beach.
