This is a must stop on the cape. General Stores are few and far between and there is really nothing like this one. It's a great stop for snacks, souvenirs, forgotten beach items, hard to find and unusual household items or just to browse around. There is memorabilia galore around the store if you look as well. The staff is... More

If you happen to be in or around Brewster, do stop in the Brewster Store. Delicious baked goods, I recently had the Cranberry Coffee Cake, that was moist and mouthwatering. Also purchased Cape Cod Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies that were just as yummy. In addition to Beach Plum Preserves and Coffee Mugs. Loved it and will visit again when in... More

Yes, it's for the tourists, but as a tourist myself I immensely enjoyed the store. Lots of souvenir opportunities, interesting trinkets, and some essentials. Worth a visit and worth a browse, lots of character. It's not a chain supermarket.

This is a must stop if you're in the Brewster area or if you're driving along Route 6A. It's a cute store with lots of different things. Beautiful glass bottles or salt water taffy! The whole family will enjoy!

This is a must while visiting Brewster. An old fashioned general store with a lot of "stuff" to enjoy while shopping. Very good breakfast place with fine coffee and good pastry. Enjoy the ice cream later in the day. Take time to browse inside and then find a seat on the front porch for a great view of the tourists... More

We always stop here. If you are looking for something "old fashioned", you know ... well made, stop here. Don't miss going upstairs to see the miniature naval yard re-creation.

I was driving along the road and saw all these people sitting outside of the store, so I had to turn around and go back. Was worth the time. Very friendly people. Good coffee and muffins. Enjoyed visiting with the people.

I live a mile from the Brewster Store and whenever we have visitors their stay includes a walk down there. Children love selecting a bag of "penny candy" and there are many fun items to purchase. You might want to get a cup of coffee, muffin, and read a newspaper on the benches out front. . . or chat with... More

You don't visit this store thinking you will find one specific item...you walk in, wander around, chat with the friendly staff, and go home with more stuff than you ever realized existed (it's best to bring cash and leave the credit cards behind!). It's a lot of fun poking around the shelves and you come across a bunch of little... More

This is a little cute old-fashioned store with lots of history. Make sure you make your way to the second floor where they have some historical items. Our kids (5 and 9) really enjoyed it and found some fun stuff. Definitely worth a visit!
