What a charming and quaint shopping experience on the cape! This store has a wonderful selection of souvenirs and reminders of days gone by, reasonable priced, and everyone is pleasant and friendly. I got a genuine squash scraper! Hope to visit again one day!

A step back in time to a place that offers a relaxed space to browse, shop or simply chat. We picked up some pretty neat souvenirs & little mementoes of our stay in the Cape - none of which we are glad to say were tacky! We found it hard to leave & only managed to do so after coffee,... More

This is a fun place to visit, part old time general store, part Brewster tourist stop. You can get lots of weird items specific to Brewster and the Cape, penny candy (not really a penny anymore), lots of random housewares. They have a fun mixture of nice items and kitsch. A bit of food too, and some donuts/fudge. It's one... More

Penny candy, souvenirs, cobalt glass, books....it's a place to stop to mail your postcard and have a look around. I always find something to pick up (more postcards) and the history around the place is a big pull.

Just walking into this nostalgic general store of Brewster, MA fills you with moods of euphoria and happiness due to its rustic style. I came to Cape Cod on a family trip in August 2013, and coming to this store was one of my favorite memories. It is one of Brewster's most notable attractions due to its antiqued theme. The... More

First take in the historic scenic Route 6A (Old Stage Route) on Cape Cod from Sandwich, MA to Brewster, MA. Right on Route 6A in Brewster is the Brewster Store. I could have stayed all day. Items I haven't seen in a store for over 50 years. Items that I thought were no longer available and here they were. Target... More

We had some visitors last week and decided to take a drive to the Brewster area. I had not been to the store in quite a while. I was so relieved that it had not changed. Of course, there were new items but the overall feeling of the store is "a walk back in time." I found Lego candy for... More

This is an old fashioned general store, packed with so many useful things. From food to furniture, books, lighting supplies, home decor, and things whose use you may not know, it's more than about shopping. It's about experiencing the place and stepping back in time when you step through the doors.

This is a must stop on the cape. General Stores are few and far between and there is really nothing like this one. It's a great stop for snacks, souvenirs, forgotten beach items, hard to find and unusual household items or just to browse around. There is memorabilia galore around the store if you look as well. The staff is... More

If you happen to be in or around Brewster, do stop in the Brewster Store. Delicious baked goods, I recently had the Cranberry Coffee Cake, that was moist and mouthwatering. Also purchased Cape Cod Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies that were just as yummy. In addition to Beach Plum Preserves and Coffee Mugs. Loved it and will visit again when in... More
