I had heard about this little shop and I'm so glad that I found it! I stopped on my way home on a Saturday afternoon, and could barely find a parking spot! It honestly is such a fun place to drop by, and you could spend hours just looking at it all and taking it in. Of course, my children... More

Lots of items in this old church building. Always people in front eating ice cream from near by Brewster Scoop. Inse this tore you can find, small toys, food, coffee, artifacts and beach equipment. They have a nice military toy collection in the back of the second floor. Overall a nice place to go, kids loved it.

The Brewster General Store is a must visit when in this area of Cape Cod! The store has been a highlight from years of visits to Cape Cod, especially for young children. They have bins set up with tiny toys for the kids to pick some favorites without breaking the bank. Also, fresh made fudge, and hundreds of other items... More

Fun place for tourists--as a resident of Brewster for over ten years, I never would have gone for their ridiculous prices. But, it is Cape Cod--they have to gorge the tourists in their few moths of work.

So much fun! The merchandise is hard to resist. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging for shipment of my purchases.

Cool store with so many things to check out. Perfect spot to pull over and take a break from driving. Has neat gadgets and old fashioned toys and candy you'll remember from childhood.

This lets the kids know "what it was like" when we had the drugstore on the corner, and we could get anything there. So much fun just exploring. Penny candy, trinkets, and cool stuff galore. The smells and the sounds - the wooden floor, the fudge. Everyone is smiling. It's a must do.

When we stayed in Brewster we went to their General Store. What a find! They have a little bit of everything in there. From touristy gifts to some nice antique "finds". They carry locally made items including fudge that was to die for. A great mix of old and new. Just a great place to poke around in when it... More

The Brewster General Store has everything you need, want and don't even know you "need" til you see it! Penny Candy, fudge, t-shirts, aprons, cookie cutters, candles, balls of string, toys, comic books, foods, pet treats, kitchen tools,....everything. Old wooden floors hold the stories of decades past. Take a walk upstairs and look at some of their great antiques (not... More
