We had some cloudy days on the cape and looked for alternative things to do in the area. Really happy we found this tour. Derek was a perfect guide. He was well versed, knowledgable and open to anything the group asked. He made it interactive and entertaining. Would have gone even if we had great weather. Went on the three... More

Brought a friend from out of town to see what this tour was all about. He was interested as he feels he had lived in a few homes that had spirits. The old Jail was by far the most frightening thing I've ever been in. The old cemetery was creepy but felt more "alive". Would love to try it again... More

This was an great excursion for all of us, especially for my youngest daughter. Our friendly and personable host provided us with town history and local anecdotes. My youngest daughter caught a glimpse of a real spirit and we saw photos from past experiences. We learned about famous people, visited famous buildings, and (of course) the graveyard. I must say,... Very cool tour. First of all, take the 3 hr ghost hunter tour if you really wanna have fun, not the 2 hr history tour. Second, Derek was an awesome tour guide and I would definitely want him to be there if I went again. If you are looking for a guaranteed ghost sighting, save your money and rent a... More

Our family went on this tour last night. Derek was our tour guide. We found him knowledgeable, friendly and very passionate about his tours. He told us a lot of interesting history while bringing us to haunted places. Wandering around the cemetery was super scary and the old jail is not for the faint of heart. I definitely recommend this... More

Who knew there was so much haunting and American history in such a small place. Great guide and the tour includes a visit of the old wooden jail next to the Coast Guard museum.

We EACH paid 15 bucks (30 in total) to walk around, look at some houses, and hear vague stories of possible ghost sightings. While my girlfriend and I enjoyed the history and scenery, half way thru we begin to feel ripped off. Our guide, Derek, was alright, but we just couldn't get past the feeling of this "tour" being a... More

Our tour of Barnstable's Historical Ghost Tour on Wednesday night was two hours or unrelenting vague references and half finished sentences. Our guide had no real knowledge or at the very least no ability to communicate the history of this small but elegant town. She seemed unable to relay even the smallest amount of factual information in a clear and... More

We did the shorter of the two walks (around 2 hours) which didn't include the EVP session. The guides were well informed about the area and it was really good to go inside some buildings. Tour pace was good - unhurried with opportunities for photos and questions. Highly recommended.

I went on a Thursday night ghost tour (which doesn't include EVP recordings) just for something different to do for the evening. The tour group numbered 8 of us with the guide. Our tour guide (not Derek) was good and she provided us with history about Barnstable Village along with a ghost story at every stop along the tour. The... More
