wonderful garden

I love this garden. It has many areas for picnic and it has many areas for photo shoot. I visited the garden in spring/autumn and it's wonderful.

Lived in Wheaton for 5 years before we discovered it. Something special for every season - butterfly gardens, azaleas, tulips, roses, fall foliage and of course the lights during the holidays. Beautiful well maintained gardens, great paths for walking, and open spaces for children.

Very good park to spend the day in picnic or for a stroll in the evening. Lots of open spaces for kids to run around and play. During fall, they have a butterfly exhibit titled 'Wings of Fancy' in a greenhouse. Staff and volunteer were friendly and patiently answered our questions about the winged creatures.

Friendly area for babie, young children, or even you want to meditate. The scenery was so beautiful. I think it would be more beautiful in spring. Easy access to wheaton regional park and its dog park.

This is a terrific place to visit year round, especially once you spot the entry gates to the surrounding forests. The manicured grounds are lovely, wheel chair accessible for much of it, and also places to step off the regular path and wander across flagstones set in water near the Japanese garden or down steeper grades toward the entry pond.... We go all the time and love seeing the growth going on at different seasons. Beautiful ponds, shrubs, trees, flowers, and an exotic greenhouse.

We go several times a year and the indoor Christmas display includes a model railroad of the local area that everyone will love.

Take your time to meander through the paths of Brookside Gardens. The holiday lights are so sweet, whimsical and colorful. I love that there are all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore. The main entrance is on Glenallen Avenue but if you head toward the same entrance via Heurich Road (off of Randolph Road), you will beat the big... More
