While out on a post snowstorm trip, we stopped here on our way home, and found it nearly deserted and newly plowed out. It was worth the small effort. I would rate it higher, but I thought some of the wines were pricey. We did have a wonderful tasting experience thanks to the gentleman manning the whole place that day.... More

We typically do VA wineries, since we live in VA, but we were visiting Baltimore for the weekend and decided to try out three wineries. We started this this one and tried two more and can say that the wines here were just ok. The reds were lackluster and bland in color and boldness. The staff was moderately friendly. The... More

Did some winery tours of Northern Maryland - this was a fun little place! They offer a venue to have private functions - which sounds fun! Wines are really good! Will def. be back.

For starters, the people who work there are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting done with a Groupon. We prefer sweet wines, and love their Monkton Moon delight. They also have a nice pavilion to have a picnic. During the year, they have various events. Just recently we attended a movie night. We really like this... More

This is a convenient (sorta?) stop for anyone going down I-83 to Baltimore. It's a little off the beaten path, but makes for a relaxing journey into the traffic inside the beltway. This was a quirky little winery in a great location. I was fascinated by all the bottles they had around the tasting room. We did a basic tasting,... More

Setting is peaceful, wine is great with a diverse selection and the staff is very friendly. We stopped by after a hike in Gunpowder Falls State Park and could not have picked a better spot to relax. To top it off they were making authentic Italian pizza. Delicious.

This place is amazing--I can't believe I live so close & never went. The wine is very, very good and a great selection. I recommend doing a tasting with a cheese/fruit tray to get the full taste of each kind of wine offered. The staff was very knowledgeable & helpful & fun!! If you go, pack a lunch or snack... More

This was my first time going to a wine tasting so I really didn't know what to expect. We had a groupon deal for wine tasting with cheese plate. The person serving the wine only started working there a few months ago, so didn't really know much about wine or the process. That was a disappointment since I think it... More

My husband and I wanted to visit Basignani after discovering how much we love their Monkton Moon wine. The place itself is a bit cramped and musty looking, but all of their wines are superb! We had Danny helping us, and we both adored his gruff charm and knowledge about everything under the sun. We decided to join their wine... More
