I just took a nature kayaking tour which was fantastic! We were lucky to have a beautiful August day with low heat and humidity, but that's not what made it great. Missy was a wonderful leader. She provided some instruction on paddling, and getting into the kayaks, but that didn't take long. Most of the time was on the water,... More

I went with an active teen group. Because time was a factor, we were there for 4 hours. The group was about 45 teens. Activities for my group were zip line, 3 person swing, rock wall and high rope challenge. The teens loved it. It was hot and humid with a little rain but the teens completed all of the... More

This was awesome! Very hot and humid outside but mostly the course was shaded. The guides were great with the kids and the course was challenging yet not too hard for them. They were highly supervised and everyone was very safe. I was worried it would be lame because it was the youngest course, but it wasn't! The party rooms... More

We went on the day they switched over to online waivers. The lines were long however the staff was nice. We only signed up for the zipline, but we were there for over 2 hours. We had to watch people on the swing and then we had to wait in line for about another hour for another group to finish... More

We went to Terrapin Adventures today with our 5yo son and 8yo daughter. Fortunately booked 2 weeks in advance since the weather was perfect and everything was sold out the day of. We planned to use a voucher from LivingSocial...there was a glitch with this (due to my not reading all the fine print...my fault) but Steve at the front... More

Went here for a corporate outing and they did a great job. Fun ropes course, great staff and made everyone at every ability enjoy themselves.

Terrapin Adventures is a whole lot of fun if you go with a group. We decided to try the Terrapin Tower, which is basically a super-tall structure with four sides. On two sides are rock-climbing walls (one is easy and one is hard) and on the other two sides are ropes/obstacle courses (rope net, tire ladder, etc.). Once you get... More

Our women's group of 40-50 year olds went here for an afternoon. We did some mostly silly team games but the big attraction was the zip line and the giant swing. We all got outside our comfort zones a bit but had a great time climbing up the ladder to jump into the air for the zip line and swinging... More

To celebrate an upcoming birthday, I wanted to challenge myself. The Zip Line at Terrapin Adventures was amazing. Imagine walking on a high wire holding on to a rope. Twenty feet above the ground, tethered in safely but definitely feeling the distance to the ground. I reached a tiny platform and jumped off with no hesitation. Great feeling to face... More

I have heard of Terrapin Adventures for some time, but have never been there. Today I took my husband for Father's Day, and it was amazing. Who knew that this gem of an attraction is hidden right next to the back parking lot behind Savage Mill. You do have to be in somewhat good shape to get the most out... More
