Love it

We visit anytime we can! Great walking trails, history lessons as you go, quiet and serene. Our dogs go and stay leashed. Nice place for photos, as well.

Love to take my dog for walks on the trails when I'm in town! This place always feels safe and it's a great free trip to take kids or dogs

Its definitely a cool out of town spot in Salisbury. There is hiking trails that look pretty good though we were not there for that. We went specifically for the Beer festival they have. Generally we have gone for the wine festival for the past couple years but this was our first "beer" tastings there. We were pleasantly surprised with... More

I walked the Bell's Island trail with my German Shepherd. We were there for about an hour. The trails were, for the most part, very lovely. The abundant shade kept us cool on a warm muggy day, and there was plenty of squirrel and frog activity to amuse us. In most places the trail was very broad and easy to... More

This is a wonderful historian park. They have different events all year. They have a wine festival , and beer festival. They have a day camp for kids in summer. In the fall they have a program for kids at nighttime. U can always catch fish on the many spots they have. A lot of people come here to take... More

Had a LOVELY visit today at the Hall with a wonderful docent, dressed in the era, who gave our grandchildren and us a well educated tour of the home. She allowed the girls to touch and ask questions. (Ages 10 and 13) they loved their visit. We walked the fairly easy (I'm handicapped) walk around the pond. (1 mile) and... More

Great place for a dog walk with 5 miles of interconnected trails through the woods. Narrative signs describe what was there early on and what you are presently looking at. Saw several osprey nests and great flowering plants.

They have events such as wine tasting here but I don't drink any way and never care for the busy scene... however the nature of the walks are great and you can mix it up between woods, water scenes, and open spaces... good for dogs and most owners seem to keep it clean by picking up so not too worrisome... Take the dogs for a walk in the park. Quiet, peaceful, great for all seasons. Well marked trails makes it difficult to get lost.

Good hiking trails that are just the right length for kids. Also, good birding spot. 3 different environments with pond, marsh and woodland.
