While visiting family in Keller, VA on the Eastern shore of VA we took a day trip to Salisbury Zoological park. We couldn't believe we could take the children to a large playground and zoo at no cost. They were accepting donations to build a restroom facility there at the playground. There was restroom facility inside zoo and a concession... More

great little zoo, just give the gate guy a couple bucks and he will tell you all about what is going as far as births and deaths, if you can't afford to pay walk to the left and enjoy!

Very nice place to visit, (it's free!) with young children. Special playground names after a child from our community, Ben's Red Swings is a favorite. There are plenty of exotic animals, and shaded gardens and walkways. A very nice zoo built by and cared for by the community.

I love the zoo, it's small but the animals are always out and about. It's a nice little walk with beautiful views.

A beautiful little zoo tucked in a lovely city park. Easily walked pathways, ADA compliant facilities, very knowledgeable staff and pleasant environment. Interesting and fun New World and Australian animals. And it's free!

For a free zoo I found this zoo very neat. There were enough animals to keep my children excited. The exhibits were neat. There was quite a variety of animals. The bear cub and mama bear were a big hit. We even go to see some animals being fed. It didn't take long to tour the entire zoo. It took... More

The zoo is free. Very well designed. Many wonderful animals: Bears, Jaguars, parrots, llamas, etc. easy to navigate and see everything.

Took two of our grandchildren to this small zoo in Salisbury. It was our first visit, but won't be our last. We were surprised at the variety of animals and they all seemed to be well-cared-for. We spent quite a bit of time watching the mama bear and her 5-month old cub. They were playing together and fun to watch.... More

I think that to call this a zoo is perhaps a bit too much, but it is a lovely little park with some wildlife. As it is free admission it is a nice place to spend a couple of hours. They do have a donations box which supports the running of the attraction.

The Salisbury Zoo is a really neat place to visit. We take our grandkids there frequently as we live in Salisbury. There is a big playground behind the Zoo called Bens Red Swings that every kid would love. The zoo has a great selection of animals for a small town zoo
