This little zoo makes for a great place to stroll around on a nice day and check out the animals. Kids love it, and there is also a huge playground for them on one side of the park. Lots of interesting exhibits and things to see. Entrance is free, but they have donation boxes so you can contribute--and you'll want... More

Went here today April 13 and had a great time. Cute little zoo my 17 month old had a blast. Didn't get to see the bear because she was still in her den with newborn cub. The only bad thing was there was a bunch of Canadian geese walking around and they try to get real close to you, but... More

Great place to take the family! Small donation box at entrance. Just added a small snack shop. Well-kept restrooms. Well maintained exhibits Great little gift shop but not open all the time. Just opened 2 new exhibits. Parking lot is small. May have to park across the pedestrian lot.

What an impressive zoo! Especially considering its free. I really should visit more often. Plenty of incredible animal exhibits & a nice gift shop with drinks & snacks.

Always fun to walk through the zoo and look at the animals. You expect anything to much its a free zoo. The only thing i ever didnt like bout the zoo is the hours wish they were open a little later then 430.

The Salisbury Zoo is a great zoo for young children. Although it's small, it's well maintained and easily navigated. It would be nice if there were a few bigger animals like camels or zebras, but the ocelot was neat. I think the bears were sequestered with new cubs and it was pretty cold for the alligator. So, we didn't see... More

This is a small zoo in a small city. It is free but has lots of wonderful species to see. They organize seasonal themed events which are usually very popular with parents and kids. Their Halloween night is a must attend event if you are into zooing!

The Salisbury Zoo is a truly amazing zoo for a small town! Our family had a fabulous experience because of the amazing zookeepers, Ian, Ann and Lauren. The zoo is a nice size with a fabulous variety of animals that are clearly well taken care of and loved by the staff. The park is a beautiful setting in the trees... More

Small old fashioned zoo, with too small cages full of sad animals living out their pathetic lives in captivity.Hidden in one corner of the central Park this relic hasn't stood the test of time, time to get some more land and expand the property or close it down,

A well regarded zoo.Small enough to see without tiring children, the physically disabled or seniors and large enough to show a lot of north American animals. The educational opportunities are abundant and Ben's Red Swing playground adds an extra treat.
