For a small hometown zoo it has a little of everything. From bears to otters and flamingos. Nice afternoon walk with a nice playground for kids a little gift shop and snack bar. And best of all it's Free!

A cheap place to spend an afternoon along the river just outside the zoo is a beautiful park with built in barbecue grills, swings for the kids and picnic tables. Eat, play then take a stroll through the zoo. The zoo has a donation box as you enter, this is how they are able to stay open. Their are otters(... More

This is a great small zoo, and the fact that it's free makes it perfect. Don't expect lions and elephants, but there are many exhibits and in the summer the staff does a lot of scheduled shows and demonstrations with reptiles and birds. Honestly, the part my daughter loves the most is the playground right in front of the zoo.... More

The Salisbury Zoo is very clean. It is also small, which I like. It is free. I would recommend going here. I bring out of town friends and they always enjoy it.

Perfect small town zoo...easy to walk, nice surroudings..and best of all FREE...or a small donation box is at the entrance. Great for small children...and if you enter on the East side..the kids will find a nice surprise of the great playground on the other side when they are done!

The zoo is small but kids love it!. Take my grandson here and he never tires of the kid friendly atmosphere. If he is not worn out I just move him out of the zoo to "Ben's Red Swings" play area.

Considering the price for a family of four to visit the Zoo, the FREE admission Zoo located in Salisbury is a no-brainer. The zoo is well maintained and very informative. It is attached to the City's Park that features "Ben's Red Swings" which will keep your kids occupied for hours. There are grills, picnic tables, paddle boats, etc...

The Salisbury Zoo is someplace you should go while visiting Salisbury. It has very nice trails, the exhibits and animals are well done, and you can even trek down by the water for a great view. Cost is minimal, and it is a relaxing place to go.
