Really a hidden gem. Very nice relaxing atmosphere. nice paths for viewing and well laid out. Most of all, it's free. Folks are encouraged to donate, which we did. A great place to visit, view animals and have some fun and relaxation.

I had a wonderful experience there with my kids! They loved it! The zoo was not too crowded and was very nice! My kids had even the opportunity to feed the ducks...

Beautiful grounds and walkways. Lots of trees. Very quiet and peaceful. This small zoo had a surprising variety of animals. I highly recommend.

This is truly one of Salisbury's hidden gems. Tucked away near a quaint park, the actual zoo is home to exotic birds, ocelots, bears, capybara's, a red wolf, and every other "normal" small town zoo animal you can think of. The facility is always impeccably kept and there are always docents and staff available to answer questions and "direct" you... More

This zoo is a perfect afternoon visit. The picnic and play area is also amazing. My children and now their children have always loved it. Great for groups and families as well. Pack a picnic and enjoy your day. The animals are awesome and it's very well taken care of. The staff is super helpful too

While visiting family in Keller, VA on the Eastern shore of VA we took a day trip to Salisbury Zoological park. We couldn't believe we could take the children to a large playground and zoo at no cost. They were accepting donations to build a restroom facility there at the playground. There was restroom facility inside zoo and a concession... More

great little zoo, just give the gate guy a couple bucks and he will tell you all about what is going as far as births and deaths, if you can't afford to pay walk to the left and enjoy!
