We had the server pretty much to ourselves so we asked lots of questions & could take some time tasting. Each of us enjoyed a glass outside afterwards and took several bottles home. The local MD wines were quite good along with the Chocolate Zin. Island Beauty was a winner, but not a fan of the sweets.

One of our stops on the Chesapeake Wine Trail, St. Michael's Winery has a large tasting room, where you can't be seated at the bar, but couches are available near the wall. (Our server explained that this is because of some ordinance to do with their location on a main road.) It's obvious SMW deals in volume, yet we had... More

Loved the staff and feel of this fun tasting room. It was definitely the place to be with multiple bachelorette parties popping in and out. It was a bit hectic ( staff reported being a little short due to a festival that weekend). My husband and I did the dry wine flight and enjoyed the Pinot Gris.

They had quite a few dry wines to choose from but many sweet wines, which worked for me. They have a dry flight and a sweet flight or you could try all of them. They were $1 a pour to taste. I ended up purchasing a bottle of the Gollywobbler Black for only $13. So good and such a reasonable... More

Did the wine testing with friends and we couldn't decided which one we liked the best! All of them were very good, friendly staff and very informative on the wines, we did not leave empty handed!

Tasting experience itself was good. But the wines are low quality. And they make you pay to taste. The Martha chambourcin was the best and still was nothing great, but they still wanted $30 a bottle!! They have to be joking. They think they are much better than they are. Tourist trap with the prices. Also not a winery. Just... More

Group of 4 in early 30's there on Friday Sept. 4th. Wine rep was friendly, informative and really all enjoyed the tasting. I had the sweet wine tasting: 9 wines for $8 and my husband did the full wine tasting for $15. Other party member did the staff favorites tasting. I purchased 3 bottles of wine: Gollywobbler Red, Gollywobbler Peach,... More

Had a wonderful time at winery the young lady that did our tasting not only helped us with wines but made us feel welcome to the area. She knows the products well. We tried several wines and found all of them enjoyable. BY all means try the chocolate wine, we bought 2 bottles. Very light delightful and sweet wines. A... More

They have a good selection of wines, we had individuals who like dry and sweet wines in our group and everyone seemed to enjoy what they had. You can pick a flight of wines or just pick and choose, reasonably priced wines and knowledgeable staff.
