We had a great time - the Captain let the daughter pilot the ship and explained to us the navigation tools available to him. He really knew the area, telling us about the houses along the bay and interesting stories of those who lived in them. Pointed out Osprey nests and got us close enough to clearly view the nests... We loved this short jaunt out on the water. We took the Island Music Cruise which featured reggae music and 1 included alcoholic drink. Of course, you could by more! The captain was super nice and even allowed my small dog on board. He allowed us to take some fun pictures with my dog Ziggy at the stern. The scenery... More

Captain and crew very friendly. Interacted well with everyone on the cruise. Kids got a chance to be with Capt and "steer the ship". Nice history facts of the area. Not a bad price for the little more than hour tour

Upon visiting St. Michaels we decided to take a tour with the Patriot. We arrived for the 11:00 cruise, which was sparsely attended. The staff of the boat were all very friendly. The captain offered great live commentary, aided by some recorded history of the area. We saw some ospreys, jellyfish, and rays. The river and shorelines are very picturesque.... More

As part of our trip to St. Michaels we decided to take the Cocktail Cruise and liked it so much we took the historical cruise the next day. Both days we had Captain John who was just a lot of fun as well as being informative. Do yourself a favor and take one of the Patriot's cruises. They're a lot... More

if you come to St.Michaels you really must go out on The Patriot. Until you get out on the river you don't realize just how beautiful this area is and the knowledgeable captain and crew will show you all the sights. Take an evening cruise and sip wine while you view beautiful waterfront estates.

Went with my husband. We had a nice time. Sat up top under the canopy where we were able to enjoy the breeze but stay out of the bright sun. We had reasonably priced drinks from the bar downstairs. The bartender was quite nice and accommodating (not sure what his name was!). We had a hard time paying attention to... More

My husband and I had heard about the boat tours in St. Michaels but could not bear the thought of ponying up $100 for a skipjack tour so we settled for this. It was a nice excursion with some enjoyable historical sights but probably not worth the $25/person price tag.
