Our party of three (along with about 40 others on board) took the one-hour 2:30 pm cruise on Sunday and enjoyed it very much. Captain John and his crew below deck couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming to adult and child alike. This narrated (recorded and live) cruise in St. Michaels Harbor, home of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum,... More

I get seasick pretty easily so I was a little hesitant to accept an invitation for a breakfast cruise. After we left the dock I realized that I had nothing to worry about. This is a very smooth, calm trip down the river, and you get to see the beautiful shorelines and houses you can only dream to own. The... More

During a three day wedding event in St. Michaels, we took the Saturday 12:30 Patriot cruise up the Miles River. It was a glorious sunny autumn day with crisp clear visibility. By the way - the boat has a large indoor climate controlled deck with large windows for less friendly weather..... The boat is roomy with plenty of outside standing... More

We finally had an opportunity after a week of bad weather to take the cruise October 15th 2013. Everyone affiliated with the cruise line were so nice to eveyone. They made you feel like family. The pre recorded presentation as we cruised proved to be invaluable for the river knowledge. As we glided across the water taking picture after picture... More

Sailing on the Patriot was a wonderful excursion on what was an otherwise dreary Saturday. The historical narrative was informative, and everyone could be "captain" for a moment piloting the ship. A great thing for kids of all ages. Highly recommended.

even on a grey & drizzly Saturday afternoon in October, Patriot Cruises was a great experience. Serenely gliding along the Miles River, past wildlife & some ancient houses, you gain a deeper understanding of American and local history. The Captain has a wealth of knowledge about the landscape and people who've inhabited it.

We all had a relaxing afternoon on this lovely boat. Such a picturesque harbour to leave from. The captain and crew were all super friendly and the ship spotlessly clean. Interesting narrative about the wildlife, houses and history as you sail, plus added comments by the captain and captain's wife. And not too much talking, just enough to also have... More

It is a little bit pricey for the services provided during the cruise. There were some repetitions with narration.

St Michael's is a very lovely area and to get a better look at it you can take the Patriot to see some of the surrounding area. The boat is OK with average food and drink. The time on the river is very pleasant. I would recommend it for someone new to the area with a little time to kill.

I had such a wonderful time for my birthday in St. Michaels. The best part was taking a cruise on the Patriot. The captain let me steer the ship and he even sang happy birthday to me over the loud speaker! We got to see a wedding taking place at St Michaels at the light house. The captain's wife was... More
