My husband and I went on this cruise today. In the summer the cruise goes out at 11, 12:30, 2:30pm & 4pm. The 12:30 cruise is longer - 90 minutes, while the others are 70 minutes. Same price. I was hoping for a AAA discount, but no luck. I enjoyed the cruise and hearing about the history of the area.... More

This is a fun tour if you are visiting St. Micheals and do not have a boat and want to see the Chesapeake waterways.. Pleasant staff and music also some facts about the history. If you have some time away from the shops and restaurants a good value that is well worth it.

We took the hour historical boat tour - fun, informative and great weather made the ride even better. Ship's Captain let our 3 year old granddaughter come in the pilot house and "steer" the boat - she's still talking about it. The Miles River is beautiful and the ship did a great job of describing historical sites, especially British invasion... More

Saw a groupon special ($13) for the cruise which is normally $24/adult and grabbed them while visiting with friends who had never been to the Eastern Shore. A perfect day for a cruise into the Miles River revealed some early area history, points of interest, osprey nests and just a very good time. The Patriot is in excellent condition with... More

1.5 hour tour out into the Chesapeake waterways and back to St. Michaels harbor. Tour includes historical presentation that points out interesting facts and locations along the route. Main deck is enclosed and good if it's cold or rainy. Upper deck is partially covered but areas on the front or rear of the boat are out in the open. Seating... More

The captain was more than accommodating to get us on the next cruise out and offered us a free drink aboard the ship. The boat was well kept and the staff was very welcoming The... More

We decided to take this cruise our last day in St. Michaels and so glad we did! It included a recorded historical narrative but also Captain Cook interrupted often with his own personal narrative and wit. He even welcomed us in the pilot house to ask questions! We saw coromorant, porpoise, osprey and herons. Would totally recommend this cruise!

We took a cruise on the Patriot on July 5th. The Patriot docks just outside the museum. Our experience started when we purchased our tickets from a booth on the dock. The fellow working in the booth was friendly and engaging. This definitely set the tone for what was to come! We had a wait until the boat returned from... More

Taking a cruise about the Patriot in St. Michaels is like being with friends on their big boat - you learn lots about the scenery AND you get the colorful background as well. From the time you board, the captain and his crew are warm, helpful and generously concerned that you enjoy yourself. I took my brother and his wife,... More

My husband and I went on this cruise 6/29/14. The captain we had for the 12:30pm cruise made the trip much more exciting. He was very entertaining and showed use all that he enjoys his job. We would definitely recommend this to others.
