Beautiful.

Tilghman Island is beautiful. We watched the canoe races from the parking lot at Masthead restaurant.

Riding a bike, walking, fishing and shopping are all activities that are available in this charming little town. I enjoyed just being there and seeing the town and speaking with the folks there. The only negative was that I was unable to find a beach. The water looked so inviting that it was disappointing to not experience it.

Small fishing community with a few stores. Not much to it and not very scenic. Not worth the stop if you are on a limited schedule.

Took a 20 mile bike ride (RT) from our B&B in McDaniel, and then a 5 mile walk to come wander around Tilghman Island. Wooden cut-outs of boats, and their names, adorn light poles, a man sitting on the porch of the local museum keeps busy creating fishing nets, folks in white fisherman's boots hop in and out of their... If you want to experience the more realistic part of the Eastern Shore, then you should visit Tilghman Island. Our favorite part was a sail on a Skipjack!

Beautiful quaint hotel with great rooms and a wonderful waterfront view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. St. Michael's is a 20 minute ride away with a lot of quaint fun shops with a lot of places to eat and quench your thirst. Also places to eat on the water with beautiful views. There are also museums to visit... More

Tilghman is a tiny town, great to take a fishing or boat trip from, Harrison's is the place for lunch and crabs, and a stop at the country store is all you need. Look forward to returning.

Pretty scenic drive. Popular for fishing, but I cannot say this would be something on the "must see/do" list around St. Michael's.

Nice drive, but not much there except the water. We were staying in St. Michaels and took a drive out there to see what was there. Just about 2 restaurants.

Spent a long weekend between St. Michael's and Tilghman Island. Tired from kayaking and swimming all morning, coupled with increased heat and humidity, we headed a few extra miles and made the circuit around Tilghman Island. Nice, quiet layed back. Found a good location to put our kayaks in, can't wait. Ogh yes, nice views from the Naval Research Laboratory... More
