Rockville Town Center is a hub of activity. There always seems to be something going on, especially during the summer. They host children's events, live music, movies and ice skating in the winter! There is a fountain where kids can run around and an area with some big rocks kids can climb. It is conveniently located next to the library... More

There is always something going on in the town center year round. They've made this a nice destination. Between music, family friendly events, ice skating rink in winter, movies in summer there is something for everyone. Tons of places to get a full meal, snacks, drinks or desserts. Walking distance to the metro and a nice movie theater. Can't go... More

Great little town with neat shops and restaurants. We ate at the Gordon Biersch brewery restaurant. Food was good and beer was tasty. There is a walkway from the metro over the road then a few blocks to the town center.

if we want to talk of old 18th 19th century America Rockville downtown is the place. We found multitudes of different restaurants of different types of food everywhere from sushi to,Lebanese, Japanese, Chinese, Frenchand of course the good old fashioned American cuisine.we happened to arrive on the evening of a free family movie ,next to their Central Library in Rockville,... This is a lovely little square with restaurants guaranteed to appeal to all tastes. There are also some boutique shops, a library and a cinema. All within walking distance to the Metro's red line which makes it even more convenient. Great atmosphere on sunny days with families enjoying the fountain with their children.

Rockville Town Square is a shopping/dining/office development that is like many of the new mixed-use developments popping up all over suburbia. Pros: good selection of restaurants, nice outdoor spaces, very accessible. Cons: lacks cheap eats places (most restaurants are full-service), you have to pay for parking, traffic can be a nightmare.

A nice atmosphere for daytime or nighttime visits. A fair amount of restaurants to choose from for a meal, but not so much on the retail end of things. There are some clothing and specialty stores, but they are on the pricey side. Rockville Town Square has a lot of different events throughout the year for families. Downside, you have... More

OK, this sounds ridiculous, right? A parking garage is not really an attraction, or of interest to anyone...until now. I just had to give a shout out to Rockville's downtown for the most modern parking garage I've ever been in. It is extremely clean and well-lit, and each parking space has a sensor with red (or green) lights hanging above... More

Rockville is my hometown, and I'm impressed with how much it has grown over the years. This town square symbolizes that growth with it's beautiful buildings, apartments, entertainment, and both popular and unique shops. It has almost everything you want, Starbucks, a French bakery, expensive restaurants, and a library for those who want some quiet time. There's also an awesome... More
