It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

We took our kids, ages 17,15,14, and 11 without letting them know our destination. They were a little anxious when we arrived. They had little experience with zip lining and ropes, but the instructor gave us excellent training and instructions so that we all felt safe. Though I have a fear of heights, I felt completely comfortable during the entire... More

My girlfriend bought us both tickets for my birthday - it was an absolute blast. The facilities were client, the gear and equipment were in great condition and regularly tested, and the instructors were spot-on making sure that everyone was safe. I was especially impressed that there were water stations at each of the six ropes courses, which was a... More

What a great adventure we had with our teenage sons, who usually do not want to spend time with boring parents! I coined the phrase "forced family fun" for our outings. However, Go Ape was not forced at all! When we arrived, our reservation was in order and they quickly checked us in. Expect a little bit of waiting for... More

My 12 year old had recently done a ropes course in Maine and had a really good time there so when we were looking for some things to do this summer, Go Ape seemed like a really good time. Here's some awesome things about Go Ape: Ropes courses and zip lining are a lot of fun. This course is no... More

My boyfriend and I had such a blast the entire time we were there! We wanted to try something new and outdoors and found Go Ape! I had been ziplining at another course but this one was 100x better! The staff are so nice and helpful, the training is very simple and everything is just great! Making a reservation was... More

I love it! It was quite challenging, but fun, fun, fun! The instructors had great attitudes- very friendly, supportive, and encouraging. Will definitely do it again to introduce more friends (and my son) to this great activity.

The Go Ape website is easy to use and setting a reservation is fantastic. The reservation system tells you how many slots are still open. We got to the checkin and filled out the paperwork, and then were told to go into the forest to meet our guide. The guide put our harnesses on and explained the safety rules. The... More

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! Two friends and I went on a road trip for 11 days. During our planning we knew we wanted to try to do some sort of adventure. We randomly came across Go Ape on the internet. We were able to get a student rate of $55. Both of my friends are terrified of heights but they were... More

A friend and I booked our GoApe adventure through Groupon and had an excellent time yesterday. The course was indeed a challenging workout, but it had built in options to skip portions if you didn't feel up to them because of fatigue or fear. ;) The instructors had great attitudes- very friendly, approachable, supportive, and encouraging. Will definitely book again... More

The staff was very friendly throughout the experience, the course itself was fun. We had a group of six, four of whom were over 55, who were able to complete the course with a little assistance. There were new challenges in each section and the most difficult parts had a split path which included a slightly easier option. I recommend... More
