It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

My niece celebrated her birthday with a group of her friends, and I came as one of the adult chaperones. We arrived at around 12:00 noon on Columbus Day, and the weather was perfect, so we were already off to a good start. We started with the 20 minute safety presentation, where you learn about the safety gear and how... More

It takes about 2 hours, and gets progressively more challenging, which is a nice build up to the end. The views are great & it was loads of fun for the whole family (we had 2 11yr olds, 1 age 16, and 2 adults).

At 53 I did the entire course (including Station #4) with my 3 children who are in their 20's. I can't stand heights, but I went thru the course and had fun. This is a great family activity and quite a 3 hour workout. I would do this again!

Our instructor Mike was very knowledgeable, helpful and really emphasized the importance of "stay connected". The instructional part of our visit was really well done. the practice course was very helpful because it was a total representation of the entire course at 3 ft above the ground. Quite comforting when it is your first time out on an obstacle course/zipline... More

Though I wish I could offer a review for "swinging" in the trees, my review has to do with the business, more so the moral fabric of the business. In short, I received an adventure to Go Ape as a birthday gift, however, due to unforeseen health issues was not able to enjoy the experience. The Go Ape team could... More

We had such a great time. Make sure you make reservations as several people were turned away because they were all booked up. Wear some layers and thin gloves if it is cold. Bulky gloves can get in the way and become a nuisance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

We had SO much fun!!! Although after climbing the first tree we discovered that my son is afraid of heights. But we kept going, and after we were about halfway through he decided it was fun, and never looked back. We completed the course and at the end we all agreed we had a blast and want to do it... Lots of fun. Harness is relatively comfortable. There are 6 different courses and the whole thing took about 3 hours.

I have to say this was such a fun experience for me. I never used to be a physically active person. If I was asked to try this two years ago I would not have been able to do it. I would have tried and had to stop after the first platform. However I puished myself and got through all... More
