It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

So much fun!

Go Ape is right in Needwood Park. Great for all levels- perfect amount of thrill and fun. Reasonably priced as well.

Go Ape was an amazing experience where you can step out of your comfort zone and see the world from within the trees. Before this trip, I was still a little scared of heights, but I still recommend this for people who are scared of heights. There are six zip lines and two tarzan swings. We felt that it as... More

We decided to try Go Ape in preparation for our trip to Costa Rica where we anticipate doing zip lining. The first three stops went fine. I did not realize that I had fear of heights until I realized that I had reached a point of no return - that is I just have to swing forward because I cannot... More

I'am seriously scared of heights but with the support of my co-workers was able to complete GO Ape and it was all worth it. The view from the zip lining was very beautiful.

We had a great time here during a family get together. Our group of 13 ranged in age from 13 to 52 and it was fun for all. The staff does a great job with training/safety instructions and after that they let you go off and enjoy! Lots of different obstacles and some great zip lines. Not for those with... More

We spent an afternoon having an adventure in the treetops with Go Ape! This was the second time I've been to this location (the first was several years ago), and both times I've come home very happy with my experience. After checking in and signing the safety waiver, a staff member gives you a thorough briefing, including a practice wire... More

We have lived in Rockville for over a year...and i can't believe it took us SO long to Go Ape! We had so much fun! It is better than a zip line course because the obstacles are challenging, even for people who do like heights. The price seems steep at first, but the safety/training staff is excellent and the course... More

This place is EPIC! My sister and I heard of this place when it was mentioned in the news about a month ago, and being new to the area we figured we would try something adventurous. Therefore, we went the other day to Go Ape! This place is perfect for pretty much anyone who is interested in having a little... More

This was a great afternoon spent outside. We were a group of four adults. There are 5 full obstacle courses (excluding a mini-training-style obstacle course) - all 6 end in a zip line. One two of the courses there is an option for moderate or extreme challenges. The whole trip took 3 hours. There were lots of laughs, challenges, and... More

I experienced Go Ape for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. I've recommended the place to several of my friends, co-workers and boss. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. After the safety/training brief, I felt confident about venturing out onto the treetop obstacles and zip lining . The best obstacle is the Tarzan Jump - NEED TO HAVE... More
