Good during the day when on the beach- lots of food and shops. At night it turns into a family place- rides, etc. Also a lot of unsupervised teenagers, which can be a tad annoying. But overall great activities for families with young kids.

I have been to my share of boardwalk towns and Ocean City is my favorite.
THe boardwalk is clean, full of tack-tack-TACKY shops (my fav!) selling uber cheap souvenirs, plenty of fried boardwalk goodies to eat and an excellent place for people-watching. (Oh yeah, and the beach is clean with pretty sand!)

very clean boardwalk--lots of places to sit (many benches to relax your tired feet) great place to ride a bike--great food!!
Just walking along those wooden planks and seeing the waves crash on the sandy beach made me think of summer with my Grandpop.
Even in early May, the tourists and locals never dissappoint! The hawkers were as vocal as ever and the vendors were as friendly as ever!

Dolle's has the best popcorn and taffy, went to Pepper's for a late night drink fest, checked out Adolfo's cool bar and a "step back in time" feel,...

I like going off season to the Boardwalk. You can actually enjoy walking and browsing without huge crowds. It's a bit disappointing however to not have a lot of stores or eatery's open or the tram running.. I dislike all the annoying pigeons!!!.
Wasnt prime season ,so alot was not open yet.We had a nice serene walk on the boardwalk, nice weather. It was Ok Parking was free ,I guess since off season weekday, that was nice.
This Springfest usually is on the same weekend as our convention and we come early in order to visit the Springfest at the inlet end of the boardwalk. We love to refill our Fishers popcorn tubs and eat some Dumser's ice cream and Thrashers french fries.
OC isn't what it use to be 16 years ago. It has gone through some different phases and sadly, the locals do not really care for the tourists. The new boards are nice, but that is about it. Too many places along the boardwalk to get alcohol, the music from the shops is too loud and the street people, are...
