the tram is well run and safe. A little pricey for what you get. But it is worth at least one try. The ride from the pier to the end at 27th street (at night) takes forever - you are better off walking. Don't take the tram on the 4th of July -

1st time to the OC after living in the area for 7 years. Had a great time walking the board walk, eating at some beach favorites. Laid out on the beach for a day and was really great to relax in the sun.

We rode the tram in OC Md for the first time over Labor Day weekend and it was great. We bought the unlimited passes and sooo worth it. We rode from one end to the other, got off and ate, rode again, did the beach then rode again. The weather was perfect and the staff was very nice. They even... More

We have taken the boardwalk tram many times. It is a nice way to get back to your hotel especially if you are tired and don't want to walk anymore. The drivers and helpers are nice and are usually friendly. It is great to people watch and the slow ride is relaxing. However, the prices, especially if you have children... More

Having read about the Tram beforehand, I wasn't too concerned about easily getting up and down the Ocean City boardwalk. After walking about 1.7 miles down the boardwalk, we decided to turn around and head back to the South end. We found out from a police officer that we can board the tram from anywhere, so we sat on a... More

If it is a busy day/night on the boardwalk, I suggest going to the actual boarding station past the pier to get on board. The trams leave the station already full of passengers, so you won't be able to get on going toward 27th street until you are way past the crowd, at which point, it might just be easier... More

When you can 't go another step but don't want to miss the boardwalk excitement, head for this tram. It runs the entire length of the boardwalk day or night. Night is the most exciting time to ride the tram when your kids are full of popcorn and fries and are getting sleepy.

This was by far the best $6 I spent in OC. The tram made it much easier to do the length of the boardwalk - it is easy to hop on and hop off - all you need to do is raise your hand. I liked that policy better than designated stops.

This was a good way to see the whole boardwalk. We did a fair amount of walking. Then the heat showed up. We rode the tram from one end of the boardwalk to the other. Excellent ride you can get an idea of what part of the boardwalk you want to visit.

Why walk when you can ride the tram? Enjoy the breeze, take in the sites and get off and on as you need to. Does cost $, but saves your legs for fun elsewhere. When its hot and humid, ride the tram. Great for little kids too!
