Great if you're too tired to walk

My kids love riding the train up and down the boardwalk for fun, which gets expensive. Make sure that you have exact change!

This is a great means of transportation on the Boardwalk. For those who can't walk the entire route or those who can't ride bikes any longer this is an enjoyable way to get from point A to point B or stop in between and shop or eat and then get back on. There are several options that you can purchase... More

It takes you from one end of the board walk to the other and back, you can stop it at anytime to board the transaction very handy when you walk to one end and need a ride back

The boardwalk is a beautiful thing to walk with all the stores but it is a very long walk and if you have small children it can become quite challenging. The tram is the way to go to get from one end to the other. It cost 3 dollars per person and you must have the exact fare which is... More

Trams are the best way to enjoy the beach/boardwalk experience any time of day. It affords you the comforts of riding in what may be described as a "stretch" golf card with chauffer.

This was a great way to get back and forth on the boardwalk. You could buy individual trips each way or little packages. We typically would walk one way and take the tram back to the hotel. We were on 26th and it was a long way to the other end of the boardwalk.

Who couldn't love the idea of sitting on your butt and seeing the boardwalk?! It doesn't cost that much and my family and I ride it every year!

This is the best way to see the Boardwalk and Ocean City. We stayed at the northern end of the Boardwalk, rode the tram to the inlet and back when we wanted to visit the various shops. It really saved us from walking of feet off.

It cost $3 each way but it's a must to experience the whole boardwalk instead of walking. You might think its not much until you start walking and walking. It's worth it and you can relax, see the boardwalk and see people while seated. It only goes to 27th street but it passes like every 5 minutes each way. Some... More

Until you start to walk the famous Boardwalk, you don't realize how very long it is. The Tram is a great way to ride one way as far as you want to go for just $3 per person (must have exact change). Multi ride tickets are available too, although we never looked into getting them. On busy weekends, they tend... More
