Take a tour of the house, very interesting artifacts and stories, then stroll the grounds and have a picnic. They also have concerts in the summer. More

Beautiful gardens. Our kids had plenty of fun exploring all of the different area. Their favorite was the huge Koi pond. There's a restaurant on site w/ limited food (not alot of choices for picky kids though) More

The grounds are beautiful. I would endorse particularly strongly the summer concerts held in the gardens. It is extremely restful and relaxing. You can take dinner and some wine. It's a great evening. More
