I'm not much of a skier but I still had fun the times I went there as a kid. I think now there is a roller coaster too. One day I would like to try snow tubing. I heard they have it there too.

This was my first time skiing and i took my family. We went over the Presidents weekend. This is one of the places that seems cheap on the surface, but everyone knows that skiing is not a cheap activity.

We went snowtubing on Saturday March 3...the weather was in the high 40's but there was still man-made snow on about 5 of the 8 tubing lanes. So for us the weather was perfect because it was not too cold. My wife and I are both 30 years old, and we had a blast!

Wisp at Deep Creek Mountain Resort is a four season resort. Wisp is in the snow belt in W. Maryland, and offers several levels of skiing.

This is a nice resort about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from Northern VA and not as crowded as Whitetail. Longest wait in lift line was 10 minutes and the staff will ease the speed of the chair as you get on. Everyone very friendly and helpful except for the ski terrain park area. Staff member not helpful...

Spent President's Weekend here with kids 7 & 11. We all had a blast for four days. Despite lack of natural snow their snow making is great and felt like skiing on the real stuff. Ski school very good for both kids, nice and helpful instructors. We also all had a good time snow tubing and doing the mountain coaster....

Three families and friends got together to enjoy each others company (10 total). Ski weekend at Wisp was OK considering the abysmal season they're having. Yes it was crowded, but that was to be expected. Conditions we're sketchy for Friday, Sat and Sunday, but doable (patches of ice from time to time on most runs). They had the snow blowers...
