We went snowtubing on Saturday March 3...the weather was in the high 40's but there was still man-made snow on about 5 of the 8 tubing lanes. So for us the weather was perfect because it was not too cold. My wife and I are both 30 years old, and we had a blast! More

This is a nice resort about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from Northern VA and not as crowded as Whitetail. Spent President's Weekend here with kids 7 & 11. We all had a blast for four days. Despite lack of natural snow their snow making is great and felt like skiing on the real stuff. Ski school very good for both kids, nice and helpful instructors. We also all had a good time snow tubing and doing the mountain coaster.... More
