We had perfect weather for enjoying the waterfront along this nature-boardwalk. Ducks and geese were there to entertain and pose for pictures. A barge with its tug glided by. It was a great way to exercise before the drive home after our night in Havre de Grace. Clean public restrooms are located nearby across from the Maritime Museum, which is... More

This park is owned and maintained by the City of Havre de Grace. It is adjacent to Tydings Park, Concord Point Lighthouse, and The Havre de Grace Maritime Museum. The Havre de Grace Decoy Museum is also in the area. One can take in all these attractions from one parking space. No need to drive from place to place! There... More

Nice little walk around the edge of Havre de Grace. Located right on the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay, you can't go wrong with the views. Plenty of benches placed around the walk so you can sit and enjoy the views. LOVE to go at dusk and enjoy the night views.

Saw the Concord lighthouse (later saw the Turkey Point Lighthouse - its mirror image) the next day. Not crowded, and free parking.

The promenade is level, well maintained and right on the water. The views are amazing. There is a good amount of public parking, public restrooms, a snack shack, the Maritime Museum, nice placards with historical information, a light house, and lots of benches to sit and enjoy the views. It is a peaceful and enjoy place for me.

This promenade offers scenic views of the river and many benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. There aren't enough shady spots to hide from the sun on hot days, but dusk was beautiful.

The National Park Service has done a great job in constructing this wooden promenade along the south shore of Havre de Grace. Stretching from Concord Point Light to Millard Tydings Memorial Park, it follows the water's edge with stopping points for magnificent views of the Chesapeake Bay. The markers along the way provide a good narrative about the natural habitat... More

We were in the area for the night and looking for a place for an evening stroll. We began at the lighthouse and walked to the harbor. It was high tide and we saw herons, ducks, and other shore birds as well as a fish and kayakers. People were friendly and the weather was perfect. Great informational stops all along... More

Nice little town for a walk. Has waterfront area also and some small shops to browse. It's a quiet, peaceful retreat from the interstate.
