The Havre de Grace Promenade is a great place if you are a visiting sightseer from out of town or a local Harford Countian that strolls the promenade for exercise. The wooden promenade is wide so couple or families with kids can pass each other without being cramped against. The walking surface is smooth and presents no irregularities to stumble... More

One of the best things to do while in Havre de Grace is to take a refreshing stroll on the promenade. The views of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay are stunning. If you begin the walk from the public marina side near Tydings Park, the walk will begin at a large wooden gazebo. There is a food shop... More

What a great area for a walk. The view is fantastic. Ducks and other waterfowl, boats and history abounds. Be sure to stop and contemplate the area around you as you walk. All the history that occurred here. Stop by the marina at the end for a bite to eat. During the year there are many events in the area.... More

My husband and I were in Havre de Grace for an anniverary get away. We spent some time waling along the promenade and really enjoyed the natural beauty of the waterfront. The area is rich in history, which my husband loved, and there are displays that explain the history of the area. I'm so glad they took the time and... More

Our group was no sooner on the Promenade then the heavens left down buckets of water. Our bus was waiting for us across the street from the Keepers House. Was an experience we will never forget.

My husband and I walked along the Promenade on a nice sunny October morning. It didn't take very long and it was a nice easy walk as the walkway was built like a boardwalk - great if you're in a wheelchair, walker or just need a flat walking area. There were plenty of informational displays telling you about the history... More

Found the Promenade after visiting the Concord Point Lighthouse - awesome views of the water & nicely manicured. A great place to relax & walk to and from the museums, lighthouse, & park. I'd recommend taking the time to explore this focal point of the waterfront - a must see!

We had perfect weather for enjoying the waterfront along this nature-boardwalk. Ducks and geese were there to entertain and pose for pictures. A barge with its tug glided by. It was a great way to exercise before the drive home after our night in Havre de Grace. Clean public restrooms are located nearby across from the Maritime Museum, which is... More
