At first glance, you see a boardwalk along the water. First thought, this should be enjoyable. You start your walk at the gazebo, located at the bottom of the hill that leads to the yacht bad in. Soon you start looking around at the sky, the water, ducks, geese, fish jumping in the water. You work your way around to... More

It's a nice view of river; wish it went further. It is a nice, easy walk before or after dinner in Havre de Grace.

We stopped by Havre de Grace for the first time after years of seeing the signs! Quaint little town. Went to see the lighthouse and strolled the promenade. A little tough with all the snow, but it was a beautiful day to see the wildlife and enjoy the bay!

The promenade sits right on the edge of the head of the Chesapeake Bay. At one end is the Concord Point Lighthouse and at the other, the city dock. It is a rather short walk, but it is quite enjoyable.

If you love strolling by the water as much as I do, you'll enjoy every minute of this walk. One of my favorite parts of taking a walk is enjoying it with my border collie Libby and unfortunately dogs aren't allowed. Poor Libby!

People who visit Baltimore and want to get out of the city and see the Chesapeake Bay and get some fresh air should definitely visit this place. Walk along the water and read the various plaques and just enjoy the sites of the bay. The walk is easy and wheelchair accessible.

The boardwalk has been under construction for expansion, but it is a beautiful place to take a stroll by the water just about any time of year. Watch the boats pass by, take in the decoy museum and get some fresh air!

The promenade is a lovely place to spend a few hours. A quaint lighthouse is at one end and a waterside resteraunt at the other. In between there are benches to sit on while taking in lovely views of the bay. Along the way there are history boards that will tell you more about the history of Havre de Grace.... More

No golf involved so this is a good walk. Views of the waterway are delightful - come prepared for a breeze as there always seems to be one. Parking is plentiful and folks around you are happy and friendly. Just a really nice place to take a stroll along a river!
