Havre de Grace is a charming little town and the Promenade is a great way to start your morning! A nice easy walk with beautiful views and plaques posted with history about the area along the way. Check out the Concord Lighthouse and if it's open, the Duck Decoy museum.

The view is breathtaking as long as you dont look Down along the shore. There was so much trash and litter that it really took away some of the magic. It was a nice stroll and the placards along the way were very informative. We also got a kick out of watching the ducks waddle along the shore.

Before I continue, I have to say - I love Havre de Grace. When we walk through town it reminds us of Cape May, NJ, or some similar seaside town. Classic architecture, tree lined streets, and the star attraction - the boardwalk. When I say "promenade" to others that like HDG, they look at me with that look of, "what?"... More

This is a very pretty and long walkway that meanders along the water in the scenic town of Havre de Grace. You will see lots of birds and some people, too, so it's good for watching whichever your preference is! One of the nice things about the Havre de Grace Promenade is that during the growing seasons there are shady... More

Took a little road trip through Maryland on a beautiful day. Found about this place on trip advisor. It was the most beautiful day to go for a stroll and listen to calming waters. The breeze was perfect. Next time I'm taking a blanket and a book. I could have stayed there for hours. I am interested in learning about... More

Nice day to visit the promenade. The view of the bay is great. Good mix of sunny and shady spots along the walk. There are several signs with history facts. Lots of benches. This trail gets you from the park to the light house.

Found this area in the travel section of our newspaper and took a ride down. It is nice area for walking or sitting and watching the boats and ducks cruising the bay. It is near the Seafood Festival so you can work off some of the wonderful seafood.

A lovely walk along the water! You will likely spot a good many birds. Runs along a lovely park. Walkable from downtown. Historical signs line the walk.
