I am happy every time I enter the Maryland Theatre. It makes me feel like I am attending a grand performance from years ago. The improvements they are making to the theatre are welcome and needed, and I hope this treasure is here for years to come!

A great place to see a concert! Old Theater with balcony area takes you back to an older time. Seats and aisles were smaller than usual but it has great charm.

we have seen stand up comedians, country musicians, musicals from Barbara Ingram School as well as our sons graduation was held there. It is an older feel to a theater. It is always clean and very one is professional. All the sitting is really nice. Not a fan of the upper balcony. Nice place to go for a great evening... More

Beautiful historic site. One of the treasures of our town. Great place to see live entertainment with a reasonable price.

Excellent performances there by the Maryland Symphony. I recommend season tickets to the Masterwork Series. They have excellent specials and solid performance, comparable to the Minnesota Orchestra.

The theatre itself is very old and for the most part, in dire need of some TLC. It doesn't take much imagination to transport yourself back in time while inside its nostalgic, if not plush walls. The events scheduled inside the theatre used to be National, however, most of the talent now seems to be either Idolers and local-type. The... More

We took my two teens to see the Maryland Symphony Orchestra on a Sunday afternoon for a 2 pm matinee. Parking is easy and free. We parked just down the street from the theater in an open air lot. The theater is set back in from the street so if you are looking for a big sign, you have to... More

The Maryland Theatre has classic architecture with friendly staff. I traveled to see a "kiddie" concert from out state; we had missed the concert in our city. I purchased my tickets online and the Will Call process went smoothly when we arrived. There's was ample and free parking behind the Theatre. I wished we had more time to explore the... More
