The theater was the hub for July's Plein Air festival for most of the week. Charming place and people.

My husband and I decided not to do a boating trip while away for our anniversary and instead decided to see "Kiss of the Spiderwoman" at the Avalon Theatre in Easton. We loved the show. The actors were phenominal. For a local group, this play was beyond excellent and was more than worth the $25 tickets. Yes, we did this... More

I went to Easton specifically to attend the Chesapeake Bay Chamber Music Festival. Various churches and the Avalon Theatre are among the concert sites. I heard two concerts at Trinity Episcopal Church and attended rehearsals at the Avalon Theatre. I loved seeing the theatre with pictures lining the walls of the lobby area and found the acoustics to be very... More

We saw Kathy Mattea and Prince Igor (a simulcast from the Met). Both were great! Kathy Mattea was apparently sold out. We should have gotten there earlier to get seats together. Some of the seats in the very rear of the balcony didn't look that great, but the acoustics were fine. It was great to see the performance at the... More

We attended the comedy show - Drink Til It's Funny and had a great time. It is a small venue and that made it all the better. Cheers!

I like being able to have a glass of wine or a nice beer while attending performances at the Avalon, whether in the main theater or the smaller Stoltz listening room.

The theatre production of a Wonderful Life was a pleasure to watch. The acting was outstanding and the theatre is very cozy. This was our first trip to the Avalon but it want be our last. It seems a great venue for any entertainment. They bring in some excellent musical talent as well.

We attended the Steep Canyon Rangers show and sat in the first row of the mezzanine. It was like we were right next to the band. The acoustics are terrific and it is a nice, cozy place. We see why it attracts good artists - you got the sense that the band was having as much fun as we were.... More

This is a theatre with a historical background. It was remodeled not too long ago. It is comfortable and hosts many special performances. Check what is playing and make sure you get a chance to enjoy The Avalon Theatre.
