Beautiful old home west of downtown. Good historical library and helpful staff. If your family is from here, visit this place!

You learn about the history of Cumberland here and the history of this house, but it is more for children.

I have been through the "History House" several times over the past 20 or so years, most recently in 2011. I made the mistake of calling it the History House when I called for hours and admission information. It is now called the Gordon-Roberts house, and the lady who answered the phone was insulted that I did not know that.... More
