We stayed in the cabins which are scheduled to be remodeled in 2016. They were adequate and fully equipped. They were showing their age in some areas but nothing to complain since they will be remodeled. The cabin location was exellent-right on the canal. We made use of the boat ramp and rented a slip for several days. The boat... More

Stayed 2 nights in cabin 4 which sleeps 6 comfortably. I believe it's the biggest cabin they offer. Just right for our family of boys. The loft had 2 twin beds and a full staircase (bring your own bedding and a fan) it gets hot upstairs. It had a nice central AC unit in the living room which cooled the... More

We rented a six-person cabin and it wasn't expensive, but you got what you paid for. There was about as much wildlife inside as there was outside. You'd think someone had left the doors open for about a week with all the cockroaches flying around in there. The floor plan was unique with a ladder-access loft for two sleepers. This... More

It's a lovely park to visit for the scenery. The C loop has the most spaced out campsites, and is mostly shaded. It also has lovely views of the sunsets! However, if you don't kayak, all there is to do is walk or bike around the park. The playground is simply a swing set. Yes, there are activities at the... More

I live nearby, so I'm a day tripper. Get the map from the office, and put boat in water. I like to go straight ahead, park on the beach, hike across it and then you are on the the bay to hike, swim etc. Just watch the tide and for bugs, might try the boat in campsite before the bugs... More

Took the RV and kayaks. Very clean bathrooms. Nice spots and very clean park. We had a spot across from the bulkhead facing direct west. Wonderful sunsets. Was very easy to drive our boats to the dock. Beware of the chiggers and biting flies during the summer if you boat out to the bay or walk in the woods, aweful!!!... More

Park is located on the Annemessex River with boating available. Great place to fish and crab. Best sunsets over the water.

This is a wonderful place to stay. A quiet waterfront community and the Sunsets are beautiful. You can rent kayak's at the campground store and paddle your way to a small quiet beach. Water is usually calm so no worries for the little one's. You will definately have to bring your bug spray and sunscreen. Not much for entertainment for... More

We had a campsite by the water, which made for a front row view of the sunsets on the water. The sunsets look unreal, and is full of hues of burnt orange, yellow, purple and dark blue. There is a place in town that we rented a tandem kayak to go to the beach. The beach was a bit chilly mid-May,but would be perfect... More

A beautiful place to relax. We visit the place in October, so a lot of places are closed in the area and activities are limited. But if you look for pure nature, a calm place to relax this is certainly the place to be. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the cabines are just gorgeous and the park simply beautiful....
