My granddaughter and I caught the Thursday performance of Double Trouble. She is 9 and we both enjoyed it immensely. The cast was super talented and theater was beautiful. We are from Texas and found the theater easily using the free trolley service from the metro station. I would highly recommend taking children to this theater while visiting DC.

Today we saw double trouble. The group I was with truly loved the show. The problem was we had a rude group near. There were Two camps very well behaved children. The one group was rude kicking chairs, being loud. No one bothered to correct their actions. When people are paying to see a show actions should be taken to... More

My grandson had a wonderful time ! Whenever he comes to town he asks to to Imagination Stage again! The shows are first class. His Mom and Dad enjoy it as much as he does.

We were in Bethesda for a wedding and had the first part of the day to spend on our own before the big event. We were able to catch the 11am show of Sinbad: The Untold Story. This was the perfect way to spend our Saturday morning. Our son is 5 and loved the production. We purchased the highest price... More

This is a mostly children's theater. We've seen several of their plays with our grandkids and the productions are always first rate.

Loved to take my toddler for Saturday matinee shows/play dates. The parking next door is free in the weekends which is a plus!

This is one of the most creative and entertaining children's theaters that I've ever frequented. Take your kid or a grandkid or a neighbor's kid. You will not be disappointed.

We went to the afternoon performance of the BFG. The theatre is nice and the show is very well done. We had lunch before the show and there were many great restaurant options in the area as well.

I am so happy to live in an area with such a wide range of activities and entertainment for kids. I have taken my kids (age 8 and 7) to 3 performances and have always been impressed by the caliber of the acting, the beautiful and creative costumes, and the music. The one area for improvement that I would suggest... More

My son and I have attended many plays at Imagination Stage and have enjoyed every one. He is 11 now, outside the suggested age range, but he loves theater and still enjoys the shows very much. We pay attention to the entire experience, included the incredibly creative costuming, the music, the lines of dialogue and small gestures geared to older... More
