The Wiggly bridge is unique and worth experiencing. The nature walk is a great way to relax. It's not too long and enjoyable for all ages. Best to wear boots in March (or better yet...wait till all the snow melts first)

Located on the Old Mill Road off Main Street in South Sanford is a truly lovely walk along the side of York River. The fun of walking across Wiggly bridge (more than a couple of times for fun) and into the small woods area along the island trail is a most relaxing enjoyable way to spend an hour. Limited parking... More

This hour walk was always alongside the York River and harbor. Nice to see the gulls and cormorants. Fun shaking the wiggly bridge as you crossed it. Steedman Woods was small but nice. A good outing especially during Fall Foliage season!

This is a very neat little bridge leading to a walking path through the adjacent woods along side the York River. Nice for short hikes or runs and you can also access the shoreline/cliff walk from here.

By parking your car at the location near Wiggly Bridge and walking along Route 103, you can cross Wiggly Bridge which is no longer wiggly as it used to be. You will then be on an interesting island which has several nice hiking trails, suitable for all but the most infirm. Just be a bit careful in the hilly and... More

Loved seeing the coastal waters from this little island. The wiggle bridge is great, I'm sure kids would love it.

The Wiggly Bridge is a great way to spend a day when you are in the York area. Good for family and kids. Nice area. Nice water jumping spot from the bigger bridge if you're brave enough!

Took the Cliff walk from our B&B, and extended it to the Bridge and Woods. Lovely walk! A little tricky in spots on the Cliff Walk, but beautiful views. The entire 4.2 miles was hilly, but gave us a good overview of the town, and was very pleasant. Sidewalks were available the entire route.

Great little adventure with children. Parking is limited, but it was free and not crowded like everywhere else in York on Labor Day. The bridge is fun, the island trail easy, and the fairy houses were enchanting.

Located over the river with tidal pools and rocky shores. The bridge leads to a nice easy hike in the woods which is a great place to get some shade and a slight breeze on a hot day.
