The beach was very cute. They dont have a boardwalk, but they have a strip of stores and even penny candy in one which bought me back. The food was good. The water was a little colder than I am used to being from Jersey beaches but it was still very nice. There was even a wedding going on which... More

My family had a house here growing up and I have always loved this beach. You need to get there by 9:00 in the morning to get a parking spot (bring plenty of quarters - .25 cents gets you 15 minutes). When the tide is out you can walk quite a ways on the hard sand beach. They have a... More

This is my favorite beach to take my dog off season from October-Late April. Dogs are allowed off leash during this time. The beach is a expansive during low tide and there is plenty of space for dogs to roam and explore. Most of the beach is smooth and easy to walk on. There are beautiful views of the light... More

Beautiful beach and town. Very large and ample parking. If it is cool at all, bring a sweater. Nice beach to walk then head to town for lunch or dinner.

Awesome! Clean beach. Beautiful scenery. Wonderful sandy beach. Love the long walks at night star gazing.

Pros: True to its name, this is a long beach which means there's lots of room for everyone to spread out. The slope to the water was gradual and there were very few rocks. It was very easy to wheel our wagon across the sand. We arrived around 8am on a Tuesday morning and parked only four spots down from... More

I loved the beautiful beach but the water was freezing, foot numbing cold. We enjoyed a nice lunch across the road from the beach at "Stones Throw" which was a really really nice lunch...classy place good food, a little pricey but location was unbeatable.

amazing beach with very fine sand and no rocks! We had a beautiful walk up and down the beach as the tide went out. Water was cold- but thats to be expected for Atlantic Ocean. The only downside is that most of the parking is metered so make sure you have enough change to get through the day!!

Okay....the water is a bit "brisk" but when the temperature is mid 90s, there is no better boogie board experience! I have traveled here since 1986. My 3 girls grew up at York Beach. They are "dyed in the wool" beach babes.
