Old fashioned rides, some that have probably been there since I used to visit as a kid and were fun to ride again. Lots of animals to see, butterfly garden was beautiful!

This zoo was a big surprise. 1st time here. Took my infant son and nephews 3yrs old and 10yrs old. We had such a great time at the zoo. This place is extremely clean and has many different animals. My son loved the butterfly exhibit best. I think that was my favorite too. Staff on hand was very friendly and... More

We went with children from 2 to 12. All liked the zoo. Could easily see all the animals. Do camel ride and pony ride first. Had snacks, then did kiddie rides and the couple of rides for older kids. Midway games were fun and reasonable. Didn't do batting cages or go karts Could go down at night and just do... More

Plan to arrive early on a weekend... right around opening time at 10am. Do the Zoo first, and get done with it around 11:30. Go have your prepacked lunch, and by the time you're done with that, it will be noon (the time that the rides open). My kids did the rides great this year, mostly without help. The whole... More

This is a very nice small zoo ,but perfect for a small child .Took my four year old grand daughter here for a leisurely afternoon. We loved the butterfly room and especially the feeding of the small deer .it was small enough for a first experience.

Loved feeding the ducks, goats and deer. The little kids had so much fun and they have lots of great animal displays. Loved all the trees and lots of sitting places for those of us finding it hard to walk. Rides was disappointed in - not much of a choice, had things for the little kids but not much for... More

First of, try to get discounted tickets through your work etc. The kids (ages 4 and 2) enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding the ducks/deer/goats (25 cents - quarters only - for feed). The cages are a bit on the small size, but are well tended to and the animals don't see too lethargic (yes, I do feel like zoos... More

The petting areas have way too many restrictions now; not many goats, no lambs, the deer area has a fence that makes it tougn for the deer to even come out for food or to be petted and the deers with antlers cant get out at all. There are plenty of ducks to nip you though...the bumper car ride was... More

this place is pretty old and beat up...and very small for the price. My four year old liked it because she could feed the goats and deer...beyond that it was pretty bad zoo. For adults don't even bother...Would probably take about 45 minutes max for a couple of adults to walk through, even stopping to read all the signs. The... More

It is old school amusements and rides. Love the animal park too. You can bring food and drink to eat for the picnic area or order from their vendors. It is right next to Short Sands beach and all the shops. Plenty of parking. Spend the day with the family that doesn't cost a lot of money.
