Nice easy, less than 10 minute jaunt to the top that you can even do at a trot (and I am 62). Good views. Not spectacular given that it isn't very high but rewarding nonetheless. You might as well do it while you are on the 1-way loop within Acadia National Park -- Schoodic Peninsula.

Great views of Cadillac Mountain. The hike was not too strenuous..started out in the woods and ended with great views.

It's a short drive up the mountain on a gravel road, but easy for a car. You can park and walk up and out to several spots for grand views of he area. We enjoyed the quiet and beautiful scenery.

Panoramic views to treasure, a true gem on the quiet side of Acadia National Park. The entire Schoodic Penninsula is a peaceful visually stunning trip

The Schoodic Peninsula is one of our favorite destinations in Downeast Maine. Known as the quieter part of Acadia NP, you will find stunning views, a great road for biking (one way traffic), and some great little hikes. We usually pack a picnic lunch and eat it while watching the waves break over the granite rocks at the tip of... More

Love this mountain. If you take the trail from the parking area, it's challenging but you don't have to be a mountain climber to get to the top. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a 360 degree view.

We go every year and it's still enjoyable. There are so many picnic areas and places to explore. This year we finally hiked to the top of Schoodic Mtn and were not disappointed. We had heard that the view is partially obstructed by tree but once we reached the top it wasn't as bad as we were anticipating. There is... More

Its much more beautiful, a rugged beauty, compared to the main Acadia Park. The rugged shore line and waves, the forests, the mountains, the harbour.. all made it special

Schoodic is the part of Acadia where few people venture which makes it so nice to walk or drive around. The hike up Schoodic is easy and short and has great views of the rocky coast and ocean. You are unlikely to see other people so it is very peaceful

The trails were beautiful. However, the rain, wet leaves and moss made some parts a little more interesting than others.
