Friends placed golf and said it was a great course. Some holes more challenging than others but I don't play golf so I only have their word. The restaurant is a great place to go for breakfast and lunch. Did go for lunch with a group of ladies for an exceptional meal. Served in a timely manner and everything was... More

We stayed for a week at The Tallwood Motel, a mile away. We golfed alot here during the week. We loved it. We never ate there but next year we plan to. You should have more advertisements and information at the The Tallwood Motel at the bottom of Coles Hill Road. Passes? We plan on coming up next year with... More

I was born and raised in Wells, Maine. I started playing golf about five years ago and was able to become very good by playing a lot at Merriland Farms. I have played the course now over fifty times. Its a beautiful course with some challenging holes. They range from distances of about 65 yards to 120 yards. Great for... More

this is a par 3 course and great to practice your short game. it is kept up very well and there's a driving range right next door. in addition, next door to that, the family that owns the golf course has a restaurant that has fabulous breakfasts, great lunches and good dinner served. I totally recommend it!

My husband is an avid golfer, but I am still a beginner, so this nine-hole Par 3 course provided an opportunity for us to spend time enjoying one of his favorite activities without totally frustrating me. We played on a Wednesday morning in July; arrived around 9:30 a.m. and had about a 20 minute wait for a tee time. I... More

Excellent 3 Par course. Very casual and a peaceful setting. Will return soon to play here again. Well groomed and the people are so friendly. Would be great for those just learning and really great for practicing the short game. Greens were fantastic.

At the start of our beach vacation week, we began with a "yummy breakfast" at Merriland Farms. The setting off of the beaten path was beautiful and the breakfast was worth every cent. A little unique variations on some of the breakfast offerings made this stop worthwhile. Can dine inside or out on the patio depending upon the weather. They... More

This place was part of a package at The Elmwood. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth it. Beautiful atmosphere with fireplaces in the dining rooms. The rooms were toasty. Food was amazing. Service was great. We went back the second day. We will go again!

Merriland Farms is indeed hard to find but worth the drive. It's a small 9 hole course with winding trails, tall trees to hit your ball off of and just enough water hazards to try even the most patient golfer. The owners are very friendly and make the course a relaxed and casual environment. We've never yet eaten at the... More
