Waterslides! My 9 and 11 year old guests enjoyed every activity: zipline, harnessed trampoline, jumpshot playroom, waterwars - this whole carefully thought out adventure park is a famil paradise. We spent 7 and a half hours there, and the absolute delight of the day was 4 and half hours on the waterslides. Yes, four and a half hours of riding, splashing, running over to the dump bucket, jumping into the pool section that allowed for actual swimming..
The facility is clean, constantly being tidied and has lots of seating as well as a covered area for eating lunch. The snack bar was a big hit and I appreciated that there is enough adult supervision to keep the walkway and launch pad on the big slides safe.
9 year old's evaluation: "Best day of my life"
11 year old's evaluation: "We have to come back tomorrow. We missed the rope walk
mini golf"
75 year old's evaluation: "Don't worry, We'll be back! I love this place!"

Just rating the mini golf. Limited access pass is $13 per person to play as many rounds as you want. There are 9 holes many of which are pretty challenging. We had a good time but hope in the future they expand to 18 holes. Looked like kids were enjoying the water park!

Our family spent a wonderful day at Wild Acadia Fun park. The park is very well throughout, and they have fun activities for the entire family and people of all ages. The grounds, bathrooms and kitchen are impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the grill cook, and the equipment is in pristine condition. The Golf course is challenging and fun. We will be back again. The entire production shows that it is owned and operated by someone who cares and takes pride in the park.

We have been camping for forty years. So we are very picky about where we set up camp. With a travel trailers traveling across the U.S. to see America the beautiful, it is often a challenge to find an Rv park that is comparable to a beautiful state park or National Park. However, Wild Acadia fits the bill! The RV park opened a year ago last July, we can tell that the folks who own care! It is well planned, surrounded by woods, at least where we camped in Loop D. Though some sites are close to each other, most have a decent degree of separation. They are level, easy to back into. Best of all…..the laundry facilities are outstanding! The best, ever! Clean, with plenty of washers and dryers, a change machine and machine to buy detergent and softener if you need it. Also, a comfortable place to wait, showers nearby by are sparkling clean! Bathrooms, also. Lastly, as old campers, how love to star gaze, the RV Park has low lighting, that lights the roadway without being bright as a “used car lot”! We are close enough to Acadia National Park with all it has to offer! Oh! And WiFi is good, not excellent but good. Well done, Wild Acadia!

It had a lot of things to do between the water park and mini golf and other activities. There was plenty of seating near the water park. We did not stay in the campground, just stayed for the day. I would give it 5⭐️ but I felt it was kind of expensive. $100 for three of us, compared to other things we could do for that price in the area, I would say that’s too much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to offer the review. Just to clarify, our most expensive pass is $29, so for a group of three the cost would have been $89 or less.

Went on a weekday and it wasn't super crowded which is great. Climbing wall was fun and challenging. Ropes course was probably the highlight for us. Definitely challenging. Zipline was very basic. Minigolf was decent, and the balloon wars were a lot of fun. The water slides were fun but the way the turns are set up seems a bit dangerous. Really bangs you around near the end.

Our favorite camping resort by far! So clean, spacious, and close to the village of Bar Harbor (18 miles). The owners, the Allen brothers, have designed and built Wild Acadia to be a family-friendly RV facility with modern features such as excellent power hookups, water and sewer fixtures, and large, clean picnic tables on the sites.
The staff is super-friendly and always greets you with a smile. The Fun Zone water park is a real treat for families with kids as is the adjoining mini-golf course.
We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we're in Bar Harbor!

This place is a waste of your time and money. My 4 & 7 yr olds were not big enough to ride the go-carts so we played mini golf instead.
Why wouldn't you have some smaller ones too?
What were we thinking?! The course was unkept and you could hit the ball in to the water WAY to easily. I was able to retrieve the ball once but had to hike back to the counter to get another one the next time and then randomly pulled another from some bushes. (The ball went through a net and into a giant pool of water, nice)
When we first got there the lady in front of us had bought tickets and now wanted to apply that purchase to an all day pass. At first the teenager was unwilling to accommodate the request. We were shocked but soon after some protesting and convincing them that they were still giving them more money they did it.
The pricing for tickets is absurd and confusing. You can buy three tickets for a set amount but you can't divi them between your family. UGH!
So after the hot and slow round of mini golf we asked where the water fountain was. There isn't one. Really? With all the water in Maine and the type of outdoor business you are running you don't have a water fountain. Nope.
These people are raking it in and could put some better efforts in running their establishment.

My family just moved to Maine three weeks ago, and we have two daughters- a five year old, and a seven year old. We came from Louisiana where water parks are kind of a big deal. The girls were very excited about going to Wild Acadia.
Upon arriving, we were told by the person who took our money that even though she was four inches too short for the water slides, our five year old (who is very adventurous and precocious) would still likely be allowed to slide. But she wasn't; the kid they had in charge of the slide was unwilling to make exceptions, even with my daughter wearing a life-jacket and with my wife in the pool with her.
Then, while my five year old waited eagerly to bounce on the trampoline (they have a bungee harness set-up that lets people bounce higher, and which my youngest adores) we discovered that she couldn't do that either, because the harness wouldn't fit tightly enough. Even though she was in the proper weight category for the trampoline, she just couldn't do it. It really broke her heart, and ours. The go-carts were sorta fun, but even my oldest daughter couldn't drive one, and instead had to sit next to me as I drove it, because of a height requirement.
To be fair, the park refunded some of our money, but what they need are things that smaller kids can do. Because as it stands, they don't have anything for kids under about age 12. The water slides (they only have two) are really short and very tame- not the steep, fast-moving, or dangerous kinds of things they need to keep kids under 45 inches banned from. The pre-teens they have in charge of the whole place are not willing to be flexible in any appreciable way.
The single and only thing my youngest really could do was wade in a shallow pool with a life jacket on. The arcade has two pin-ball machines and maybe three video games for adults or teenagers. The zip-line stuff is for way older people or teens. Overall a very frustrating experience, even though one or two staff members tried to be nice.

We stopped here because we drove by several times and our son had his heart set on challenging the ropes course. We had checked on the Internet for closing times and it said the aerial course was open until 7 pm. We arrived at 5:30pm and were told they stop selling tickets 2 hrs prior to closing time. We had a very disappointed boy! They should publish this info on the website!
