Had a wonderful afternoon and evening with Captain Karl and his crew. We were a group of 10 and used 2 sailboats. After a lovely cruise into the harbor, we dropped anchor at Greater Cranberry Island for a lobster and clam feed with corn and great blueberry pie. The lobster was amazing, fresh from the sea. Captain Karl provided a relaxing atmosphere and good conversation on our 2-hour mid-day charter aboard the Alice E. The day was beautiful, and though the wind was uncooperative most of the time, Captain Karl motored us to better waters where we could pick up more wind. All told, a lovely time.

What a delightful morning. We drove down to the Southwest Harbor Marina, about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and boarded a sailboat with 3 other people.
