We didn't have the pleasure of experiencing Sea Kayaking this time

Jenny at Maine State Sea Kayak was a pleasure to deal with. I had made reservations for our first sea kayak experience but sadly had to cancel due to illness. Jenny was professional and understanding and offered us a refund on the $98.00 cost. Thank you! We hope to return to Maine again soon and look forward to trying out... More

We had a great time with our guide Brad. The trip is at a leisurely pace and offers a great way to see MDI. Plenty of wildlife and scenery. Plus you can give your weary hiking legs a rest.

Our family of 5 adults had a delightful time! We enjoyed getting close enough to the seals to hear them 'bark' at each other as they contended for rocks to sun themselves. We were blessed with beautiful weather and calm waters & enjoyed paddling on the quiet side of the island. Our guide, Brad, was warm, friendly, informative and fun.... More

We took an 8 AM tour in Mount Desert Narrows. Our guide Corky and his assistant Catherine were very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a great deal on the natural environment and they were taking great care that everybody in the group was happy.

We loved our 6 mile kayak adventure! We saw harbor porpoise, harbor seals, and eagles. Our guide made our trip very fun and informative!

Coming from the Midwest, we wanted to experience paddling on the ocean. I was concerned I would be worn out paddling, but current from the tide and wind up the coast almost made paddling unnecessary. We had a four hour trip, but it seemed too quick. One of the highlights of our trip.

So, this was an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We've done a bunch of different types of tours over the years and one thing we've learned is that the guide can make or break the experience. Our guide was Brad, he was funny, knowledgable, kept a good pace, and knew the best spots to float. You... More

Where do I start? Our guide Brad was just the best. My wife was a little apprehensive, but Brad with his bad jokes and enthusiasm made her feel totally at ease. I cannot state enough how welcome we were made to feel. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to answer any of our questions, a great group... More

It was my girlfriend's and my first time up in the Bar Harbor area (and Maine) and first time to experience kayaking out on the ocean/bay. We had some prior kayak experience out on some lakes, but by no means say we were "experienced" kayakers. The Maine State Sea Kayak group had one of many great routes set for us... More
