The weather was a bit off that day, foggy and chances of rain. But the guide had been watching the radar and determined we were safe to go out. My wife was nervous, she'd been kayaking before but only on a river and had had a rough time with it. But the guide (Joel) was great at putting her at... More

Corky was a great guide. We saw a bald eagle, seals, osprey and much more. Very natural and uncrowded shoreline. I am 62 years old and in fair shape. The trip was only slightly strenuous. Highly recommend.

Brad Jordan of Maine State Kayak took us out with a group for a six mile paddle in two person kayaks. No experience required. He is a good teacher and a fun guide. We saw seals, a bald eagle incredibly close up, sea urchins, sea stars, periwinkles and the beautiful coastline. The Quietside is just that. Peaceful, no cruiseships, few... More

my husband and i had a great time on our kayak trip. the sights were amazing, weather was perfect. our guide brad was wonderful. he was quite knowledgable about the area and marine life. his jokes were "funny" but it was his commitment to caring for the marine habitat that was most impressive. would definitely plan to go again with... We were lucky to find this sea kayak rental by chance. Our morning on the ocean was spectacular. Our guide was fun, funny and a wealth of information about the wildlife and the area. I really appreciated the respect he showed for the wildlife by keeping a distance from them, rather than wowing us with a close but inappropriate sweep... More

My husband and I and our three adult children plus daughter-in-law have kayaked many times before. My brother and his teenage daughter are less experienced kayakers. On this trip, we weren't looking for anything rigorous --but a pleasant evening with an emphasis on seeing wildlife. After reviewing other reviews on TA we opted for this trip (we were staying in... This tour was one of the best activities we did in Bar Harbor. Our tour guide Brad was great, kept the tour entertaining and knew a lot about the water, land, and wildlife. We got really close to the harbor seals (without disturbing them, of course) and saw some Bald Eagles, just to name some of the wildlife we saw.... More

We took a 2PM to 6PM trip for our family of 4 in 2 tandem kayaks. We had been kayaking once before in sit on top kayaks so we had no experience with these tandem sit in Sea Kayaks. The kayaks were very stable & easy to paddle during our trip & our guide was great & very helpful throughout... More

We went at 10 am. The water was calm so we were able to see the wildlife all around us. We saw several bald eagles and seals. The guide was funny and knowledgable. He knew how to include everyone. Our group had the youngest, 9, and another group had someone in their 60's. The trip is worthwhile.

We are experienced kayakers and wanted a trip that focused on wildlife in Acadia. The sunset trip was beyond our expectations! The scenery was lovely, the late afternoon light gave everything a beautiful glow and we saw many birds and harbor seals. We liked it so much that we are going again later on this week!
