Simply stated, our experience was wonderful. In our favor was a sunny warm day, calm seas, an abundance of wildlife and Brian, a fanstastic guide. We own our own kayaks and use them frequently but they are not suited for sea kayaking so we chose this activity. Reasonable rates, excellent route.

Very well-equipped outfitter (especially loved the neoprene booties), well-planned afternoon. Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable guide. Great outing for family with older kids.

Lovely tour on tandem kayak. Our guide Brad was vigilant at spotting the wildlife and pointing it out to us ... who would have probably missed it otherwise.

This was just lovely. A foggy afternoon which was mysteriously evocative, turning into full sunshine, from Bretts Landing to beyond Indain Point. Brad was so knowledgeable, easy going, informative and with telescopic eyesight finding points of interest to keep us on our toes. We saw Bald Eagle, harbour porpoise, osprey, harbour seals, loons. He was obviously proud to be working... More

First time kayaking and it was great! We saw lots of different birds including three bald eagles (they are big!) and a harbor seal. Great way to view the rocky Maine coast. Corky our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour very interesting. Would do it again in a heart beat.

My wife and I went during the afternoon after a morning of low visibility fog, so the hikes on land were not much for extended views, but out in the ocean and later in the day the views were much clearer. The fog mostly lifted into the mountains and left the ocean open. Our guide Brad was very easy to... More

It was an amazing experience. We saw seals, star fish and lot of other birds. Very scenic on a warm sunny day. Tourist guide tagging along with us is kind of a nice idea. Only negative comment - could have been a little shorter!

We went with our son who is eleven and not that experienced in kayaking. The staff is patient, helpful and work with you to make certain everyone is comfortable with the equipment. If you want to learn about the island and see wildlife, this is a great way to do it. You learn so much. We had Corky as our... More

Corky, our guide, was a pleasure. Absolutely, everything about this experience has created lasting memories for us. We were two newbies to kayaking so really were not sure what to expect. The weather was perfect for a sunset trip. Corky explained everything very clearly to us prior to setting foot in the kayak. He planned a beautiful scenic adventure in... More

Great experience! Picture this: Kayaking along the quiet coast of Mt. Desert Island. Evergreens on rugged rocky outcrops. Eagle and osprey sightings overhead. Loons bobbing on the water. Seals basking in the sun. Terns skimming the surface. All this under the skillful guidance of Brad and Corky, a naturalist whose passion is to share his knowledge and have us enjoy... More
