I have been going to Higgins Beach my whole life for vacation, as did my mother and her family. I have never found a beach that i liked more, and that includes the beaches i've visited in the Carribean. Between the rock formations, the river and the shipwreck, there is so much to explore. Higgins Beach. Where do I begin? It is a wonderful place to visit, although if your a tourist, it can be very crowded and parking is not only expensive, but its also hard to find with only one tiny parking lot. The beach its self though is gorgous. The sand is fine and soft and the water is cristle clear.... more
