Went here on a whim - once you see the ad for the life-sized chocolate moose, you sort of have to! Walked in, SMELLS DIVINE! The staff was very helpful (I only bought a little assorted box of chocolates that took me 5 minutes to decide on) and polite, and they have very cute trinkets and gifts at reasonable prices.... On our journey from Portland to Portsmouth, NH, we travelled to Scarborough specifically to visit Len Libby Chocolate. The wonderful aroma of chocolate hits you as soon as you go through the door! Fabulous variety of chocolates on sale (either pre-packed or individual selections), as well as ice cream and other candies. Lenny, the chocolate moose, is an amazing sight... More

Read about Lenny the chocolate moose while planning our vacation and it became a highlight for my son. This shop was easy to find on route 1. Very friendly staff. The smell in the store was devine and the chocolate heavenly. Too high in terms of cost but in line with all the other prices jacked up in Maine for... More

I actually don't eat a lot of candy (or chocolate), but when the opportunity presented itself to see a gigantic moose made of chocolate, I just had to stop. Now Lenny the Moose isn't really made of chocolate, because being made in 1997 means all that chocolate would have been long gone by now. There is surely some super-strong frame... More

Milk chocolates were great, icecream a were great as well. You get to pick the number if pieces of a specific chocolate that you want and they will pack it for you. Tasting is ok as lung as it is within limits.

Len was amazing to see! You'll find much more than just chocolate here....a little bit of everything! Well organized and a nice little stop. Only downside was no restrooms.

OK, yes, we mostly went just to see the moose (I'm determined to see as many moose as possible during this trip to Maine!) And yes, OK, Lenny and his friends are really impressive. I didn't expect, though, their wide assortment of handmade chocolates and the incredibly friendly, helpful staff! After doing some tasting, we purchased a selection and then... More

When you've seen enough lighthouses, head to Len Libby. Its a wonderful break from sightseeing, there are great gifts, the ice cream is wonderful, and my kids loved seeing a moose made of chocolate.

This was my second trip to Len Libby Chocolates & the clerks are always friendly & the chocolate is wonderful. The life size chocolate moose named Lenny is a must see. The young lady there took the time to tell us all about Lenny & how he came to be. Chocolate candy is their specialty & they have probably anything... More

This was our first stop in Maine, after arriving in Manchester, for our coastal drive of Maine. Definitely glad we stopped. Mostly I wanted to see the 1700 lb chocolate moose, which was amazing, but even better is their chocolate. It was so good that on our way back to Manchester, a week later, we had to stop again to...
