Our family and friends have been going to Len Libby for years. Great variety and they have ice cream too! It's a great place for gifts too.

Fun place to stop on a Road Trip. Where else can you see a moose made out of chocolate? So it was worth it just to see that ..... great selection of chocolate and treats.

whst about the customer? As mentioned by others, the restrooms are not available to adult or child customers - the most imporant aspect of any sales business. When I asked about the restrooms I was quickly told I could use the service station down the road. (In fact, in many localities restrooms are required when an establishment has tables, as... More

As we were leaving Maine to head back to Tennessee, I decided to make a quick stop at Len Libby Chocolatier in Scarborough so the group could pick up some tasty candy. Along with Lenny, the 700 pound chocolate moose, they had all kinds of sweet treats to indulge in. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy this place. Very... More

Moose and bears made of chocolate, kind of amazing. My kids loved watching the video of how the moose was made while eating delicious homemade ice cream. Lots of candy and very yummy, a bit expensive though.

We stopped just to see the 1700 lb chocolate moose. What a delight! The staff was incredibly friendly without exception and offered to take our picture with the moose. We bought chocolates and salt water taffy which were all delicious. This "attraction" is just a few minutes off the interstate, was a nice break from the drive to Bar Harbor,... More

It is worth the slight detour of driving on the Interstate (just 7 minutes east of I95 on exit 42). You just have to have your photo taken with the life size Chocolate Moose.....no if's, and's or but's !!! We call him the 'Moose Au Chocolate' but they names him 'Lenny". If you are there in the summer, think ahead... More

Yes, there really is a 1700 lb. moose in addition to 350 lb. bear cubs. A unique stop when you are in the Portland Maine area - lots of free sample also...

If you're in the Portland, Maine area, you need to visit a family chocolate/sweet/ice cream shop called Len Libby's on US 1 Post Road in Scarborough, Maine. Len Libby's has been around for decades and they sell handmade chocolates, taffy, Bangor taffy, and a variety of fudge, chocolate blueberries, sweets, stuffed animals, books, kid's toys, as well as dozens of... We visited Len Libby to see the giant Chocolate Moose. Ok I admit it so with that out of the way let me just say that I was impressed with the array of chocolates available and we did take away a box of tasty treats to enjoy on the road. Lot's of folks enjoying ice cream during out visit. Lenny... More
