This was a nice stop on our way up the coast. I wish now that we had gotten more chocolate because it is so good. We aren't even done with our trip and the stuff is all gone. Maybe we can swing by on the way to the airport. Lenny the moose is cute too. Bunch of things there for... More

We got the Sea salt chocolate caramel and Lenny's tracks I've cream. Although they had a nice taste, they were disappointing. The sea salt ice cream had very free chocolate chunks, and seemed more like plain sea salt caramel ice cream.

This place is great. The ice cream is delicious and not that expensive. Many unique flavors of ice cream. The worker at the ice cream place was not nice. If you go their you have to bring a camera so you can take a picture with the chocolate moose. Also if you go to libbys you have to buy the... More

Any place that has a near life size chocolate moose as an attraction definitely qualifies as a tourist trap. However, the chocolates were pretty good. We all especially enjoyed their milk chocolate butter crunch (what I would call toffee) and the kids ate all the salt water taffy before anyone else got to try it. Our cat sitter enjoyed her... More

The pecan turtles are to die for. And the Bangor taffy is a one of a kind treat. And who doesn't love a chocolate moose.

A visit to Scarborough ME would not be complete without visiting Lenny the huge Chocolate moose at Len Libby Chocolates. While we were there we had some of their homemade ice cream and purchased some of the delicious hand crafted chocolates. MMMMMMM good. Defiantly worth stopping in and checking it out.

I ran across Lenny the chocolate moose in the Maine attraction guide. I was instantly smitten! I was thrilled to be staying in the same city, so our family went to visit. The store was beautifully laid out, and the smells were heavenly. Lenny and his chocolate bear friends were a site to behold! I was in chocolate heaven. I... More

The giant chocolate Moose and Chocolate Bears are really cool. Everything in the place is of high quality. The items we purchased were all very tasty and fresh. Pricy but worth it. Very clean and plenty of help even at almost closing time. Very clean and well lit outside and inside.

Graduated SHS in 1993, came back to Maine to visit family and wandered into Len Libby's with a groupon of sorts and my 3 kids. To be honest the big chocolate moose was disgusting (thinking about the layers of chocolate over time, blah), but the kids found it amusing. Still some of the best chocolate around, would recommend the trip.

Went here on a whim - once you see the ad for the life-sized chocolate moose, you sort of have to! Walked in, SMELLS DIVINE! The staff was very helpful (I only bought a little assorted box of chocolates that took me 5 minutes to decide on) and polite, and they have very cute trinkets and gifts at reasonable prices....
