Participants begin with ground school and receive safety instructions on how to navigate through the course. They then move on to the green course to demonstrate they have the ability to properly use their equipment. After completing these two stages, participants will progress through the levels - each level becomes progressively more challenging! Monkey Trunks courses feature ziplines, swinging beams, tightropes, rolling logs, hanging tires, cargo nets and more! Each Monkey Trunks location includes a children's course for the littlest of monkeys, with platforms no more than 6' off the ground. Great time for the whole family! Next time I would bring our lunch with us and use one of the several picnic tables there. Then we would have stayed even longer. No time limit :) Lots of fun!

We had driven by monkey trunks many times as we've vacationed in Saco for several years. This year, we finally decided to try it out and we were more than impressed! The course staff were knowledgeable and helpful and we instantly felt safe and secure. We are so happy we attempted this!

My daughter and I spent 2 1/2 hours at Monkey Trunks - we had a great time and were extremely exhausted by the end of our time there. there are 3 zip lines - a rock wall - a swing and so many obstacles high above in the air that you have no time to be bored. The staff was... More

Monkey Trunks in Saco, Maine is a fun time and a nice setup for challenging obstacles. However, I was shocked at the lack of presence by the "safety crew" around the obstacles, on the ground or wherever else they should have been. When we were at Take Flight in York, Maine their safety crew was up at every level of... More

We visited Monkey Trunks with our 6 and 8 yr olds. We were a little worried that the kids would freak and not want to tackle the high challenges, but everyone had a blast. It was so much fun. We spent two solid hours on the course and tried all of the challenges out. They were challenging for my husband... More

We had a blast. My son is 11 and was able to do the first and second level of ropes. I was a little scared and also only ventured on the first and second levels. This was a great workout, my arms are still on fire. The facility was organized well and the instruction was educational.

I just left after visiting with my 7 year old daughter And her 6. Year old friend. They are not quite tall enough to so the adult portion with an adult, so has to settle for the kids area. This is for little kids or those who are timid. After 25 minutes, my daughter was totally ready to leave. There... More

The course was built with younger children in mind. As a last minute decision, the amount of money and time spent on the course and the overall challenge, not worth it unless you have younger children. I got to spend the afternoon with my twenty something year daughters and two nephews, ages eleven and eight, which were bored after about... More

We took the grandchildren here, 11 and 13, and they love it. They spent over two hours testing themselves going higher and higher. The swing was scary but great fun, though try it early before there is a line up. The zip line was the favourite . Staff were pleasant and supportive. There is virtually no shade for those waiting...
