Interesting Kayak Tour in Camden Harbor

I took a 13 year old family member on the two hour kayak tour. I thought it was interesting but I was surprised that the guide did not know very much about the area or about the... read more

We went on an afternoon trip with Grayson last Saturday and had an excellent time. Grayson was excellent - he was knowledgeable and gave good instructions for us getting set up for the tour. Not only that but he was great at spotting our wildlife - we saw two bald eagles whilst out on the water. Brilliant way to explore... More

We had a great time kayaking around the harbor in Camden Maine. Our guide was knowledgeable about the harbor and the natural surroundings. While there was a mixup with our reservation and we had to modify our trip, we ended up on a 'private tour' that really made our experience great! My only suggestion is to call and verify your... We did a two-hour family kayak tour of Camden harbor. I would recommend it only if (1) you have never been to Camden before and (2) you are a kayak novice. Otherwise, it's boring and tedious; find a way to do it on your own.

We came here to get running shoes and hiking equipment; they had a great selection, but the staff was clearly just hired for the summer and incredibly ignorant backing up their ignorance with outright rudeness

So sorry to hear that your experience with us was not a happy one. Summertime can be very busy in the store and new staff are still getting their bearings. Sometimes what may seem rude is a little inexperience coupled with difficulty waiting on customers in a timely fashion when it's extremely busy. Please feel free to contact me directly... More

Bike shop is helpful, took fly fishing lessons from a guy named Paul, he's good at what he does. Everything inside the store is super expensive though.. Good place to try things on, test, or research before going online to buy.

We hired bikes for a couple of days. The staff were really helpful, we were given not just the bikes but also a cargo net each and a lock, as well as toe routes a 6 mile and 15 mile. The bikes were in repair and we didn't have any problems at all. I replaced my bike after a few... More

We had a GREAT experience, despite some trepidation on the part of our little ones. 2 man kayaks, expertly led by Chris, our fantastic tour guide. A great couple of hours on the water, even for novices. Definitely worth doing.

Maine Sport is an excellent outfiiter. The guides on the kayak tour were knowledgeable and friendy. Also rented a bike from them and they had detailed maps and made sure the bike fit correctly. They also had maps and information on all of the numerous hiking trails in the region. First Class!

We did the St. George river tour with our two kids, 5 and 8. Was perfect for them. Our guide was fabulous! Everyone we encountered at Maine Sport Outfitters was professional, accommodating, and friendly. Highly recommended.

I took a 13 year old family member on the two hour kayak tour. I thought it was interesting but I was surprised that the guide did not know very much about the area or about the sea birds. I am a native of Camden so I was able to fill in some of the blanks for our guide. It... More
