We just enjoyed a fabulous evening in Maine courtesy of the crew on Morning in Maine. The ride was stunning. Bob and his wife Kathy orchestrated a perfect sunset along with lots of information on sailing, ships, and seals. Special people, special sail.

Bob and crew did a great job . He is extremely knowledgeable of marine life and the Maine history. A very comfortable sail of the coast even for the faint at heart.

This is a beautiful boat with a terrific skipper. A very elegant ride. Though we haven't been yet this summer, we take visitors on the Morning in Maine nearly every year, and always have a great time. On our first visit years ago, when our kids were much younger, another tourist boat left us stranded on the dock even though... More

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Captain Bob and the sail. It's a nice way to see the bay and Capt. Bob will tell you all about the lobster industry and what you see from the water. He lets the kids and adults who think they are kids steer. Really steer. It was so much fun. Very worth the money.

I had a little trouble finding the place but Captain Bob stayed on the phone with me until i arrived. The captain and mate are very personable and answered lots of questions. They will let you steer the boat if you want. A nice way to spend the morning.

What a fabulous sail! Captain and mate were most accommodating. It was a relaxing trip, and loads of Fun. This was an excellent value as well. Ask the captain about his plans for the midnight meteor shower sail. Maybe we Can talk him into it!

6 of us went on this trip and enjoyed it thoroughly, as everyone else on the boat did. The quiet sound of the water rippling by, the sails working in the wind, and the views were magnificent. The deck hand was an excellent conversationalist, and the skipper was very informative on the sights to see as he skillfully steered the... More

We sailed with "Captain Bob" on July 23 and had a great time. Took my children and grandchildren (8 and 10 years old) for the afternoon sail. Weather was terrific -- good wind and clear sky. We all had a wonderful time. The children loved the sailing and Captain Bob gave them each a chance to drive. Penobscott Bay is... More

This was our first time sailing. The captain and his mate were terrific. They made sure everyone was secured, and kept us all apprised of what was going to happen; e.g., when we sailed to the open sea, the temp dropped to a cold 50 degrees or so. They forewarned us. The captain was a likeable man who knew how... More

The Morning in Maine sailboat is a beautiful boat and Capt. Bob Pratt is an accomplished sailor, and between the two, they provide a wonderful way to tour the Rockland Harbor and part of Penobscot Bay. This is the second time we have sailed with Bob, and we highly recommend this sailing tour. The captain wastes no time in putting... More
