Trails are too overgrown for me. Some mountain bike folks there did not even attempt it. Could be good spot but I was not up to bushwacking this particular day. Looking forward to improvements, probably fine in the winter for skiing/shoeing.

The trails were well groomed and first-rate. We went out on the Tote Road, which was flat and a pleasure to ski. Very welcoming host.

It had been awhile since attempting cross country skiing as we both are avid downhill skiers. Staff made the rentals easy and spent time recommending trails. We had a great time exploring and had wonderful views of Saddleback. Definitely coming back for snowshoeing and recommending to friends and family!

Last winter we chose the Saddleback area because it we wanted to ski the hill after not being there for almost 20 years and to ski the trails at Rangeley Lakes. It was a wise decision. The cross country trail center is located in... More
