While visiting Portland we researched places that may be good for date night. We decided on DiMillos and it was a good choice. The food was good but the atmosphere was excellent. A floating resturant in the Old Port area made for a very good date night as we enjoyed great conversation in a fun surrounding with excellent service and... More

We had dinner here 2 nights in a row... Service was very good, food was excellent (must try the lazy lobster = fantastic) and the water views are wonderful.

Seafood was incredible as was the bloody mary with jumbo shrimp ! Getting a good look at the numerous yachts in the marina was a treat.

Sailed in a couple of years ago. Getting into the berth is tight, but very doable. The facilities are first rate, and of course, one can dine at the restaurant. Sleeping onboard was quieter than I expected for the location.

Not a bad place to eat. Gets crowded but is large. Atmosphere is wonderful as it is an old ferry boat that sits in the water. It has a marina so the views are interesting. Or, you can overlook the harbor. Service is good. The lounge area is a nice place to take a break. Tony DiMillo changed Portland for... More

Had a lovely window seat looking out onto the harbor. Early Bird Special was a great value and the food and service excellent.

It stops at the end of June and starts up again in October but it's a GREAT HH with some of the best food in town, including seafood chowder, chili, crackers, cheese, raw veggies, dips etc. Atmosphere is obviously awesome, you're sitting on the water on a ship!

If you like nautical pictures and history, boat "stuff" this is a cool place. Waterfront views, boats docked, friendly staff. Had a late light dinner at the bar the tender, Lisa, was fun to talk too. Seemed like an old friend. No it is not cheap, but you want cheap...well can't help you. Try the crab cake appetizer.

This restaurant is a fixture and has been around forever ... still the food was very good and a great value, especially so in their early bird specials Monday thru Friday with a price fixe menu. We had lunch and dinner here and would go again for the seafood.

I had a brief 3 day stay in the New England area with one goal in mind...eat as much lobster as possible. I had my first of 3 lobster rolls at DiMillo's. It was by far the best of the 3! The ambiance in the restaurant was very nice and our waitress, Kali was funny and quite entertaining. The meal... More
