Decided to eat here in April before tourist season and brought our friends. They ordered a small portion of prime rib and a large one. The person with the small actually received more edible meat than the large. The large cut had about 5 bites. We brought this to the attention of the waitress who told the chef and he... More

It is on a floating barge that does rock and move with the ocean. If it is a particularly stormy day and you get seasick easily you may want to pick another day. But it is well worth a visit. I do go a couple of times a year sometimes more.

RE: Still one of the best restaurants in New England let alone Boston This provides the absolute BEST view of Casco Bay. The food has ALWAYS been exceptional.... in fact as great as its ratings it is underrated at times... Order the seafood (c'mon it is on the water!). Fish, clams, crab cakes, calamari, mussels, haddock chowder (mmm mmm), clam... More

This restaurant is in a converted car ferry with an interesting history. The atmosphere is very nice, the service and friendliness are outstanding. The food is average.

During a recent trip to Portland we ate at DiMillo's and had a nice evening. One negative was that the calories are listed on the menu, which kind of takes the fun out of eating on a vacation. The restaurant itself was pretty busy and we had a twenty minute wait. It is a very popular spot for tourists as... More

DiMillo's is a wonderful restaurant on a ship on the ocean. The food is great . The atmosphere is unique with views of the ocean from all sides and you can eat outside on the deck. Don't leave Portland without visiting this gem :):)

Lobster always good. What makes this place special is the service. They don't rush you and everything is served with attention to detail. Best waitress in Portland is Lisa.

Me and my husband ate here after parking across the street by chance and the place was nice. Walked into the ship and we wanted to eat outside so we asked to be seated on the top deck. We had to see several hostesses before finally arriving at a beautiful spot with a cover from the rain. Great food and... More

This floating restaurant is popular with Mainers as well as visitors. Food is good quality, waiters friendly, and worth the price and waiting line.
