My daughter and i went to Dimillo's for lunch. We thought we would be able to eat in an hour. 45 minutes later and we didn't have our lunch. We had to get it to go. We later found out that the waitress had forgotten to put our order in. I emailed the mgr about our visit. No response...i would... More

DiMillo's is a touristy place, no doubt about it, but the food is good and the view of the harbor can't be beat on a summer day. I would definitely go back.

DiMillo's is a converted ferry and when I was young I took it from Newport to Jamestown RI. It is more luxurious in this life with tons of ambiance. The food is outstanding. I had a baked haddock which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the lazyman's lobster which she loved. The service was attentive. Old Port in Portland... More

I like the bar area the best. No waiting, and usually there are table seats immediately available. In the summer you can sit on the side deck.

Dinner for 9 with a reservation on a Friday night. We were greeted by the original owner's son, Dan. I loved the place, a real throwback to restaurants of yore. Reminded me... More

Great view, and food is good, but not outstanding seafood - steakhouse type food. The view and outdoor seating with ocean breeze is the main reason I would return here. Without the view and the ocean, and the outdoor seating, it's not in the same class as many of the other really great restaurants in the area.

Excellent food though a little pricey. Service was good. Parking ticket is validated so parking is free on site. Would recommend it.

Remember this place from traveling to Portland 20 years ago. Still nice atmosphere and good food. Husband enjoyed his seafood casserole and i had the 2 lobster special.
