The location on the boat is appealing. Have eaten there several times in seven years, last time the quality was not as good. It's an attractive place but a bit pricey and they stopped serving our favorite, the crab stuffed haddock.

5 Course meal that was all I could have imagined x 10. Words can't discribe how amazing just the decor alone is, great atmosphere and not a bad view in the house. Legend has it that a Di Millo is always on board, sure enough one came to each table to ask how things were. A very special place.

The restaurant is on the water and the view is amazing. I would recommend to get there earlier for dinner otherwise is a long wait time especially for the party of four and more. We ordered lazy lobster and New England chowder and everything was delicious.

Although the prices may seem a little on the high end on some of the food, the pecan encrusted haddock was well worth the price. Topped off with a tall, cold Allagash White, this made for an excellent evening.

Went to DiMillo's for dinner during our last night there. Our waiter, Jason, was very attentive and courteous. The wife and I had the lobster dinner baked and suffed, mine with crab. The lobster was well prepared and displayed. The stuffing was sweet and perfect. My wife's wine very good for a house Cabernet. Our table overlooked the harbor which... More

Lots of shops/restaurants in this area! Can walk the docks and watch the boats come in & out and the marina activity. Pretty picture spots all around. If visiting Portland area- take a walk around here!

Restaurants come and go, many of them excellent, but a few of them stay in business for generations. That's because they reliably deliver delicious food with good service and good ambience. Like DiMillo's. Sure it's a tourist attraction. It's also a locals attraction.

We've been coming to Portland most summers since we were born, we're now in our 80's, and visited Dimillo's for the first time on my 82nd birthday for baked stuffed lobster. What a delight ! We should have done it decades ago, but believed it was too touristy. Our mistake!!

This idea had promise but the atmosphere was old and stuffy and the service was only fair and the food was middle of the road for the area and the price

I love this place. And more importantly, so does my wife. I had issues with service in the past as a previous review shows. However, back in the saddle with great staff across the board at the bar. The food was spot on as well! Good job. Although, the guys I busted on in my last review were fully aware... More
