Food was good, seafood was fresh, but prices were on the high side. $25 per entree not including a salad.. Service was a bit slow. Took about 2 hours from start to finish and we didn't have dessert.

Being native to the Portland area, I still find some really good eats on the waterfront and DiMillo's is one of them. you can tell by the full house most every time you go there. I find the sea food is really, really good and haven't had a bad meal yet.

My friend and I hesitated to eat here as it is a known tourist trap. But since it was raining and difficult to find parking we wandered in anyway and were very pleasantly surprised. The parking is free when you get your ticket validated when you leave the restaurant. The service was great and so was the food! We both... More

Decided to eat here in April before tourist season and brought our friends. They ordered a small portion of prime rib and a large one. The person with the small actually received more edible meat than the large. The large cut had about 5 bites. We brought this to the attention of the waitress who told the chef and he... More

It is on a floating barge that does rock and move with the ocean. If it is a particularly stormy day and you get seasick easily you may want to pick another day. But it is well worth a visit. I do go a couple of times a year sometimes more.

RE: Still one of the best restaurants in New England let alone Boston This provides the absolute BEST view of Casco Bay. The food has ALWAYS been exceptional.... in fact as great as its ratings it is underrated at times... Order the seafood (c'mon it is on the water!). Fish, clams, crab cakes, calamari, mussels, haddock chowder (mmm mmm), clam... More

This restaurant is in a converted car ferry with an interesting history. The atmosphere is very nice, the service and friendliness are outstanding. The food is average.

During a recent trip to Portland we ate at DiMillo's and had a nice evening. One negative was that the calories are listed on the menu, which kind of takes the fun out of eating on a vacation. The restaurant itself was pretty busy and we had a twenty minute wait. It is a very popular spot for tourists as... More
