View was incredible. Dress extra warm in January as this restaurant is actually a yatch and you will feel the chill. Service was excellent. The lobster was delicious but all other items on the menu were not as great. This will most likely be the most expensive dining in the area and it is worth it for touristic experience.

This used to be "the place" for us on visits but anymore it's a bit pompous and more for the tourists (we are in process of moving here) as we found out a couple times recently. The food is OK but lobster is better elsewhere and the service is too much "flourish" and not enough substance. Pay less and eat... More

Don't be put off by this restaurant's reputation as a tourist attraction. The views can't be beat and the food is solidly good. Service is gracious. We recently took a long time friend here for lunch because of the views. We were not disappointed in the views or the food. This is a good choice for out of town visitors... More

DiMillo's was a former car ferry that made its home in several east coast states. So, you are dining on a floating restaurant....you can't get much closer to the waterfront! The food is good....not flashy, but good. But the atmosphere is great.

go here if you want the view but food seems a bit pricey for the quality. and if you want lobster, i would recommend The Lobster Shack near Two Lights lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, only 12 minutes away via RT 77.

This is an excellent restaurant, with a great view, overlooking the harbor in downtown Portland. The food and service is excellent. Try and make it for their lunch specials.

We never eat in the dining room as it is too stuffy for our liking. However, the bar is great. This time of year you can get a couch seat near the fire and look at boats and the water. Cucumber Gin Martini will knock you out!!1

I have been to DiMillo's a few times during two separate visits to the Portland area. Both experiences were extremely positive. The food was amazing, service was spectacular, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice sit down establishment.
