Hadlock Field is an old-time style ballpark. The place is old and a bit run down but still quite charming. It is in downtown Portland which will present a problem with parking, so plan ahead; there are several small lots in the area and street parking. The team is in the Eastern League, which is classified as AA Minor League.... more

It was a beautiful day and the park was great. This is a great place to take young kids b/c they just can't sit for nine innings. So, you pay a little to go see a baseball game, eat some food and watch the sea dogs play. Slugger (the mascot) is great. We stayed for about 5 innings and had... more

Seeing the Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field is a great way to spend a few hours while staying in Portland. I just went with my wife and son, and it's extremely family friendly. On the field, there's an entertaining promotion going on between almost every inning. And Slugger the Sea Dog is a huge hit with the kids. Bonus: The... more

The Sea Dogs are a bit full of themselves. Don't try to sit in one of the blue seats because you will be booted out regardless of the number of fans or the amount of rain. more
