My wife and I and our 10-year-old son went on the "Portland - Old Port Culinary Walking Tour", with Pat as our guide. The tour started at 10:30a and ran over 2.5 hours. Pat was a great hostess, and the food was excellent. While the tour was kid-friendly, I wouldn't recommend bringing younger children. (Ours is mature for his age... More

The tour was a great mixture of history, tips on what to visit, and of course, great food. I took my husband, mother, and sister along and we all enjoyed the tour very much.

Went on the Lobster Lunchtime crawl hosted by Bri, a Portland native, and had a really good time. Actually enjoyed a variety of seafoods and other treats (not just lobster) that were all delicious! I would definitely recommend taking the tour on your first day in Portland as you learn about a lot of great eateries and places to visit... More

On July 19th, 2014 we booked a private tour for 13 of us ladies for a bachelorette party in Portland, Maine and Chuck was our host. This was definitely the highlight of the weekend. Not only were the spots we went to great, including the food and drink, but Chuck was an absolute blast. He really made the entire trip... More

This tour was marvelously entertaining and informative, and I live locally! Randy was my guide and he was superb. The tour brought me to places that I hadn't explored yet and illuminated facts that I didn't know about the area that I live. Great tastes of Maine combined with a wonderful walk through an exquisite city. Well done folks!

This is a good trip to take at the beginning of your time in Portland as the guide walks you through Portland and stops at many unique and wonderful shops!

I went on this tour with my husband and our son who now lives near Portland. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the "food scene" in Portland, trying different foods, and finding out about different restaurants and other establishments to add to our list when we come up to visit. We also learned a lot about the Old Port and its... More

I've taken several Maine Foodie Tours, both in Portland and Kennebunkport, all of which are fabulous. The Old Port Lunchtime Lobster Crawl, with Dave as Tour Guide, was up to the usual high standards of this tour company. We learned a bit about the life of lobsters, sampled smoked Maine shrimp and mussels, learned some info about the Old Port... More

Glad we did this our first day as we got lots of tips for eating for the rest of vacation. Pat our tour guide was very knowledgable, kind and considerate. We were a group of only six on the 10:30 tour and we all shared our experiences. The 2&1/2 hour tour became 3 and we all loved our time with... More

A wonderful way to learn about the local food scene. This was my second food tour, the other one was in St Augustine FL and Portland measured up to that! Our guide Pat was seasoned foodie and former restraint owner which made for lively conversation about recipes and Portland food culture. We are both familiar with the area, and have... More
