In a weekend trip to Portland, this is a great tour to try out. The weekend weather was perfect. Sunny, not too cool and light rain. Beautiful foliage line the streets as you venture down Commercial St. The tour starts at the Fish Market and as you go on, you get to sample food from local restaurants. Clam chowder, lobster... Recently did the happy hour tour with Randy - what a great guy! He was very pleasant and informative, and he made everyone feel very comfortable. The meeting location was easy to find and the pace was perfect. We visited 3 locations to sample interesting drinks and snacks, while getting a taste of Portland history. Thanks to this tour, we... Enjoyed this tour while visiting Portland. Did the 10:30 am. The meeting place was easy to find with ample parking in the area. I recommend comfortable shoes as the pavement can be uneven. The walk itself was easy, and covers a little over a mile. We visited an olive oil store, a wonderful fish market, a deli, a chocolate store,... More

In trying to find something to do with my wheelchair bound Mom, we took a chance on this tour. Wendy was awesome her sense of humor and compassion are only part of what made the tour a success.. The Tour itself was filled with many delicious foods. You definitely want to try this tour cause you don't want to miss... More

We booked on line because our tour on board our ship was cancelled and we were extremely happy! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun! We loved the lobster sliders! We visited several different places and tasted a variety of foods. Loved the market place with the cheeses! The donut shop was unique. Really fell for the fish market!... More

Our foodie walking tour was one of the highlights of our visit to coastal Maine. Our guide, Pat, was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about food. Her brioche lobster roll that she created & provided to our group was the best lobster roll we have tasted! Can't wait to duplicate it when we return home! The tour was a great sampling... More

Excellent tastes of Maine, from lobster and fish to wines and beers and chocolate. Knowledgable and fun tour guide (randy). Excellent walk and local picks...not to miss! He even made recommendations for dinner that night, we got to see sights we may have missed. Pleasantly surprised! My husband didn't love that we didn't go to many restaurants but I think... More

Our group of 9 friends decided to take this tour again this year...we went with a group of 7 last year and loved it. I hate to say it, but this time was a bit of a let down. Our tour guide Randy was fun, but lacked the culinary expertise that our last guide Pat had. Having an industry professional... More

Wendy was our guide & I don't think we could've picked a better one, she was amazing. She was informative & kept everything interesting. I've been on tours before where they give you the history of the town & such but it's so stiff & boring with the delivery of the information. Wendy made it fun and exciting. The food... More
