Too large a venue, noisy neighbors, too many distracting "screens" lit up all around me (watch the show!)

I attended the Bryan Adams concert with a friend on 5/4/14, at the newly renovated Cumberland Country Civic Center. I had not been here since seeing KD Lang and Tony Bennett perform in 2001. I voted against the citizen-funded multi-million dollar upgrade of the CCCC a couple of years back, though it certainly needed some work. I just don't believe... More

I recently went to see Darius Rucker here. The venue was the perfect size for a concert. I don't think any seat was terrible. The acoustics were great. The staff was helpful. I would definitely go to another concert here.

So guess this place was just updated? Glad I wasn't here to see what it looked like before... I went here for a concert. First off, it's small - so every seat is a good seat. The negatives: how are there no luxury boxes running around this place in between a upper and lower seating area, I don't know. Make... More

Easy to get around, lines were not long for anything, seats had good view of the concert. We had a hard time finding the entrance, we felt like we were walking around the whole building.

Went to the Cumberland County Civic Center for semi finals of Maine HS basketball last week end. I went with friends to see two games. I am not a small guy.... 6'4" and 220 pounds but I don't consider myself as fat or excessively large. The seats at the civic center were so small and the arm rests so close... More

I've been here many times with my family and really enjoyed all the events we've attended at this venue. I can't say there is any bad seat here and the staff are so helpful.

Took the kids to a Portland Pirates game. The venue is typical for minor league hockey with lots of kids and pretty loud and crazy experience. The tickets are $20 which seems excessive but not compared to NHL or major league sporting events. All and all, a pretty typical experience
