Really cool building and tour. Very clean and awesome activities while waiting to go on your tour. The tour guide was very informative and did a great job explaining each section and the history of the brewery....and of course sampling beer to top it all off.

Having visited other breweries I was ready for a few drinks, stainless steel tanks and a tee-shirt. This is a must see if you like to see how success breeds success through ongoing innovation and risk-taking. Taste the sour beers, locally fermented and seasonal choices available at the brewery. Ask about the employee beer tasters and how they are ranked.... More

This is a real beer tour - you see the beer being made and bottled. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Using the headsets helped with being able to hear the tour. Much appreciated. We got to sample five beers. No charge - donations to charity only.

Planned a last minute trip to Kennebunkport and decided to hit up a few breweries in Portland on the way... Allagash was hands down the best. Everyone was so welcoming. We signed up for a tour about a week before and got a free (and generous) beer tasting- everything was great. Definitely worth the trip! Highly recommend

Allagash Brewery offers a good tour and an opportunity to taste whatever they have on tap. It certainly has grown from years ago. The tour itself is pretty quick. The tour guides are great. Enjoy some samples afterwards. They have some selections in the fridge you can take to go. We always make it a point to stop by before... More

I've long been a big fan of Allagash. They were one of the first U.S. breweries to make Belgian inspired ales and they've become very proficient at it. I first visited their brewery many years ago before they moved into their current beautiful facility. They used to distribute their products where I live in Minnesota but unfortunately no longer, so... More

Allagash White is one of my favorite Maine beers, and I finally took the time to visit the brewery while visiting my family. The tour and tastings are free. Since I visited in the winter, the tour size was very small with only three other people attending. The tour was encompassing, interesting and our tour guide was great. We learned... More

Place was packed with people and the service was still fast and friendly. The atmosphere but livelier than you typically think for a brewery but very fun. The tasting is FREE which was awesome and the beer was great. We loved playing the outdoor games they had out and the outside area was very nice. Would definitely recommend anyone go... More

Yes, you get a FREE flight of beers to taste when you go to Allagash. That whole block has some great breweries to check out with Allagash being the flagship so to speak. Worth taking the tour and the beer was delicious!

We love Allagash white, but it was great to check out the other beers they have to offer in their FREE tasting room! We also registered for the brewery tour which was so cool. While these guys are relatively big - they are still small enough that you get a great inside peek at what they do behind the scenes... More
