As you drive into the brewery parking lot - the building/set up is impressive, especially compared to some of the other local breweries in the area. It was a gorgeous day out (70 degrees and sunny!), so we were able to grab a free flight of beers (four samples) and sit outside on the patio to enjoy them. Each flight... More

The tours were full but they still offered free tastings and since free is for me, we went at 10:30am!!! The Allagash Interlude was my favorite! The staff was extremely sociable and friendly and the lady who gave us our tastings explained the beers very well! You could definitely tell she was passionate about their beer. The place itself was... More

I scheduled a brewery tour for a Friday afternoon here. Easy (and free) online registration. I arrived about 15 minutes before my tour and received a sample of each of their 4 beers on tap (also free). The tour was great. They take you right into the action on the floor and show you the whole brewing process from start... More

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon and took the tour. Very informative and you could tell our guide really enjoyed what he did. Tour moved well and then it was time for sampling. Our group of 10 had a lot of fun comparing the beers. Something for everyone was definitely the theme. The tasting room is comfortable and welcoming. A great... More

Enjoyed a tour of the Allagash Brewery and a tasting with my son on my trip to Maine. As they expand their facilities, production, and reputation, it may get harder and harder to call Allagash Brewery a microbrewer (I hear they have quite a following in Los Angeles). Impressive facilities and production equipment. Friendly knowledgable, passionate staff, willing to answer... More

Without visiting the brewery you'll never what they're really up to -- changing the world of beer. This is the connoisseur's beer. The Allagash White is their year-round, go anytime beer that has the distinctive flavor of Sunday morning. For a sexier number, the Triple Ale is elevating, the Champagne of Beer. Once you get to Ale, it has a... More

We had a fantastic time taking a tour of the brewery and doing the tasting. We were scheduled for the last tour at 4:00pm but got there early they were so nice and let us take the 3:00pm tour. My fiance really enjoyed seeing the small batch barrel room and trying the different beers during the tasting. Highly recommend for... More

I went here with my son-in-law a month or so ago and we were both very impressed. He is a real beer enthusiast and was blown away. It is a large place with a great bar all set up for tastings. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeble, and the beers are delicious. I highly recommend a visit to... More

This is a very impressive place that offers an excellent tour by very knowledgeable staff. For a brewery, it is spotless in every stage of the process. If you wonder why their product is consistently excellent, just visit the brewery, and you'll understand why that is the case.

Recently underwent a large expansion to keep up with demand, pretty much solely for the Allagash White. The White is a good beer, but their other beers are the reason I am a fan, particularly "Four". The expansion has allowed for a lot more freedom to experiment and try out new small batches of belgian inspired beer. Tastings are free...and... More
