A great children's museum for its size. Everything is interactive. We went every day for a week while visiting. (The membership is worth it if you are staying in town for a few days as you can stop in for an hour if it gets cold or rainy.) The mechanic workshop and fire truck are a huge hit and are... More

First I'd like to say that everyone was really nice and helpful, it made the stop here even that more enjoyable. The kids loved the ball room, water play area, logging area, and fire engine along with the many other exhibits. We will definitely be returning, just need to allot a little more time for the ball area. We literally... More

Brought our kids (7 & 2.5) an they loved it. It was a bit crowded but its expected as its the summer and the tourists are here in droves. There was a wait on some of the exhibits, but it wasn't terribly long. We had to drag the kids out because they didn't want to leave. Will definitely come back.

We might have had more fun than our little one, although she begged to stay longer than the two hours we had! Really fun, and interactive in all the right ways. We would absolutely come back again.

The day we went to the museum was crowded. Lots of families. Overpriced for the number of activities available for children. Bathrooms were smelly. Looks like the museum is in need of a renovation.

Even though some of the reviews made me hesitant, we gave the place a shot. Other than the place being flooded with little kids, it was an amazing place. Almost all of the exhibits were in working condition and very unique. My kids could not stop talking about it when they woke from their nap after. It was very clean... More

I brought my 2 1/2 year old here while we were passing through Portland to give him a chance to play a bit. I would say this place is probably best aged for a range from him to say 5 or 6 years old. The museum is smaller than some of the other children's museums I have been too however... More

We took a 4 year old and an 11 year old and had a blast! There are numerous exibits that offer learning opportunities as well as active play on climbing structures and slides. Our 4 year old son loved the life size fire truck and the race car.

Part of our plan when it rains and it always rains one day or two during our vacations. So for a few years we go to this museum. It's getting better and better, they add attractions and improve some.

This is a great museum for toddlers. My kids really enjoyed it. They loved sitting in the fire truck! I did find the front desk a bit rude. We have a museum pass that let's us in to places for free or a discounted rate and they acted like we were trying to cheat them. This is not our "home"... More
