We landed on the island and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprise it was very quiet and peaceful , we ate a the general store for lunch and the owner Amy was very nice to deal with. It's a great place to go in the summer.

We enjoyed a tasty summertime dinner with college friends, on a perfect August evening at Diamond Cove. The ambiance and aesthetics are perfect, service was terrific, and good menu offering the usual seacoast suspects. There are few places left that haven't succumbed to the ever encroaching uniformity and blandness of suburbanization and chain stores but Portland and Diamond Cove in particular have managed to remain something utterly one of a kind and special.
