We went to Old Port this weekend. I had read it was a great shopping area. We found mostly hair salons & bars. The only good store was LL Bean. Glad I finally got there, but disappointed. They should also clean up the graffiti, esp. where we were parked on Oak St. more

Great variety of shops, resturants, and housing- all for different budgets and tastes. Parking is available throughout, with many public parking lots and several other pay lots (averaging $1 an hr). A GREAT destination for those interested in a real, vibrant shopping area- much more friendly than that awful mall! more
